Chapter 14

We feel asleep in the cellar that night.

We were awakened by a knock on the cellar door.

"Hello? Is everyone in here okay?" the person asked.

"Yeah" Iggy yelled.

"Gosh, it's morning already?" Liberty sighed.

"Yes, Liberty" Iggy said.

Jared opened the door.

"Mom?" He asked.

Oh cool. Jared's parents.

"Honey are you alright?" She panicked.

We all walked out off the cellar.

"Yes mom, we're fine." Jared sighed.

"Who are these people?" His mom said.

"This is Iggy," he pointed. "She's my friend and so is Liberty." He pointed to Liberty. "And this is my girlfriend mom, Alana." "Um her brother got beat up and is in the hospital. He's 18 and his name is Joseph." He sighed and smiled at the same time.

"Oh honey" she came over to me. "I am so sorry to hear that about your brother."

"Oh it's okay, he's been in and out." I smiled.

She pouted cause she felt sad for me. "I know what we should do." She said.

"Mom don't go crazy" Jared advised her.

"I'm not, I was gonna invite the lovely Alana here to dinner tonight at our house." she smiled.

"Mom she-" Jared started.

"Would love to" I interrupted him.

"Great! We'll make it at 8!" She said. "Do you guys need anything?" she asked.

"No mom we're fine" Jared said.

"Honey, are you sure about that?" She said pointing to my crushed house.

"Oh my gosh" I whispered as I put my hand to my mouth.

There lies my house. My crushed into a thousand, well million pieces house. Great just great. Well moms gonna be excited when she comes back into town. Thankfully that's next year.

"What are we gonna do sissy?" Hannah asked me in her little voice.

"Oh yeah mom this is her little sister Hannah" Jared said.

"How cute" his mom said.

"I don't know baby. We need a place to stay." I told her.

"Mom is our house crushed?" Jared asked her.

"No, I think I know where your going with this baby." She said.

"They can move in for a while" Jared shouted in excitement.

"I guess" his mom said. "Comon"

We got to Jared's lovely home.

Wow. Big house.

Jared saw the 'wow' moment in my eyes and said "I have two sisters" he laughed.

I looked at him "all makes since now" I laughed back.

"This is amazing!" Iggy screamed.

"Let's hurry inside before it rains again guys" his mom said.

We all went inside.

"This is beautiful mrs. Dallas!" I smiled.

"Oh please honey, call me Rachel." She laughed.

Some guy walked down the stairs..... I'm assuming Jared's dad.

"Hi honey- uh hi." He said in amazement.

"Honey these are Jared's friends!" Rachel smiled.

"This is Iggy and Liberty, and this is my girlfriend Alana and her little sister Hannah. Her brother is 18 but got beat up and is in a coma." Jared informed him.

His dad's mouth opened. "Well I'm sorry" he told me. He stuck his hand out for me to shake. "I'm Jared's dad Gary." He smiled.

"Hi" I smiled.

Then two girls came downstairs.

"And my sisters" Jared pointed.

"Sarah and Nina" Rachel said.

There was an awkward moment of silence.

"Well let's have dinner." Rachel said.

"So then I jumped off the roof into the pool! It was awesome" Jared smiled as he took a big bite of spaghetti.

"So. Um Alana. Do you mind talking about what happened to your um brother?" Gary asked me.

"Sure" I smiled.

"Well he got into a lot of fights with this guy named Reece, who is really strong, and apparently they made a deal, and Joseph, my brother, didn't lead up to it. So anyway long story short, they got into a fight and Reece beat Joseph up. I drove past the place that he got beat up one day, and snuck in but Reece caught me. He left me alone with Joseph, who was unconscious, and I successfully snuck him out and took him to the hospital." I sighed.

"Well sounds...... I'm sorry" Gary said.

"He woke up one time" Iggy smiled.

"But then he went back to the coma" Liberty sighed.

"Well I'm sorry for everything." Nina smiled.

"Thank you" I said.

"Your so very welcome" she told me.

Me and Jared were sitting on the couch. I was plopped on his lap.

I yawned. "Woah, uh tired?" He asked me.

"Yeah" I yawned again.

We walked upstairs.

"I don't think we have any spare rooms" Jared smirked.

"Ill sleep with you, but I'm not doing that tonight Jarebear." I laughed.

"Okay" he whined.

We walked into the room.

"Jarebear?" He laughed.

I laughed with him and we plopped down on the bed together.
