Chapter 52

"I never knew you had a baby brother and a baby sister" Lana said as she came into my room waking me up.

"I don't" I sat up.

She just smiled.

"Why did you kill Cole?" I asked her.

"I didn't what are you talking about that was totally an accident!" She said acting all innocent.

"Oh come on you beat him up in ninth grade he was coming after you of course you wanted him gone" I said stating the obvious.

"Who have you told about this?" She asked.

"Why does it matter?" I said.

"Look I just happen to be the driver that hit Cole, yes I wanted him gone, but I didn't mean to murder him" she sighed.

"I'm sure." I said.

"Yes I wanted him gone! okay yes, of course I wanted him gone, because I knew he would come after me and I knew I probably wouldn't win this time." she yell whispered.

"And the car?" I asked.

"I was on my way to get a gun from my dads. I noticed the car coming, but I didn't think anything of it. When I got close to it somebody jumped out. I didn't know who it was so I started crying in fear of killing someone. I went to see the damage I had done to the person and it was Cole. Then I was relieved." she sighed.

"You were relieved!" I yelled.

"Shhh!" She said. then she stood up. "If you tell anyone-"

"What's going on in here?" Andy came in.

Then Lana left.
I slowly got out of bed.

"I don't like her. AT ALL!" I yelled grabbing Andys shoulder and squeezing it.

"Woah woah woah, you sound like your in labour" Andy laughed.

"Shut up" I said and walked downstairs.

There Liberty sat on the couch. "Hey" I said as I sat down beside her.

She laid her head in my lap and started balling. "He's not gonna make it. The doctor said he has 2 more days at the most" she cried.

"Lib." I hugged her. "I am so sorry"

"It's okay. Wasn't your fault." she smiled.

"So. Are we friends. Cause I am sooo sorry. This should have never happened!" Andy said.

"Hey, it wasn't your fault either. You didn't see the car coming." Liberty said.

Then Iggy came down holding Hannah. "Will she cheer you up any?" Iggy asked Liberty handing Hannah to her.

"Of course she will. Of course you will baby" she smiled at Hannah.

"Hey baby. Can I talk to you for a minute?" Jared asked me.

I nodded and we walked into the kitchen. "What's up" I asked him.

"My mom is doing pretty bad, but she might be getting some of her memory back. They just found out that she had heart problems too." he sighed.

"Oh my word. Baby I'm so sorry" I said.

"Yeah I know. My dad and I want to go see her. Today. And we might not be back for a while" he said.

"Oh" I said sadly. "I understand. She's your mom. You have to check on her."

"We're leaving today." He said and kissed me.

"Okay. Bye" I said.

"Bye. I love you" he said.

"I love you too" I said.

"Are you sad too" Iggy came over to me.

"I don't think your kid can fix this now" I said hugging her.

"He'll be back" she smiled.

"You okay?" Andy asked me.

"Yeah. Why do you care?" I said wondering.

"Cause I want to make sure you're okay. I am your friend ya know" he said.

"You just got here like two days ago. I barely know you. I'm going to bed. Find somebody else to talk to" I said and ran upstairs. Maybe I shouldn't have done that. Eh, he'll get over it.
