Chapter 10

"Alana wake up its 12:00 pm" Liberty said.

"Woah your alive?" I said in shock.

"Yeah, are you okay?" She asked full of concern.

"To be honest Liberty, no, this time I'm not okay. My life is going down the drain. I can't take this anymore, I can't live with out Joseph. " I said.

"A, I know how you feel, my mom is dead and your brother is the only one who knows who killed her." She told me.

I quickly got up.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"Going to see a 'friend' you could say." I said.

"Can I come?" She asked.

"Actually I need you to come." I smiled.

I took us to the jail that Reece maybe killed Joseph.

"Where are we?" Liberty asked.

"The place where my brothers death happened." I sighed.

"Hey he's not dead yet" she smiled.

I looked at her with a 'you know he won't make it' look.

"Let's go" I said.

We walked inside.

"Are you sure this is the place?" She asked.

"Yeah," I looked at the blood on the floor and bent down near it.

"Alana?" Liberty said.

"That's his blood Lib, Joseph's blood" I said.

We walked ferther and found nobody.

"Reece?" I yelled.

"Alana! Don't scream. And why are you yelling Reece?" Liberty asked confused.

"Liberty! I've been here before." I said.

"I hear a familiar voice" some guy said.

I turned around to see Reece.

"Oh my gosh" Liberty gasped.

"Oh I see you brought a friend!" Reece laughed.

"Reece, I know you killed her mom" I said.

"Yeah I did" he smiled.

Liberty froze again. Great.

"Lib, don't go anything dumb." I informed her.

She nodded her head yes to say okay.

"Reece, because of you she almost killed herself. And I ALMOST KILLED MY BEST FRIEND!" I shouted.

"Woah chill A!" Reece smirked.

He came close to me.

Our noses were touching.

"You have no right to call me that" I told him.

"But I do have a right to do this" he said as he aggressively kissed me.

I pushed him off.

"What the heck!" I yelled.

Right then I ran out of the jail Liberty not far behind.

When got home I started crying as soon as I went inside.

"Hey, baby? What's wrong?" Jared asked coming over to me.

"I know who killed Libertys mother and Beat up my brother." I cried.

"Who?" He asked holding my shoulders.

"Reece." I said looking down.

"Uh oh. When you look down it's never good." He said using his finger to bring my face back up to his.

His face was really close to mine. "He kissed you didn't he." Jared said playing with me hair.

"How'd you guess" I asked.

"You seemed scared to tell me something." He laughed.

"It was awful." I laughed.

He quickly smashed his lips on mine for a good minute.

"Now was THAT awful?" He smirked.

"No actually that was way better." I smiled. "Do it again. He leaned in.

"Hey Alan- woah um sorry." Liberty laughed.

Jared looking down at me started laughing. "We'll do this again later" he whispered.

"What?" I laughed.

"Um" she laughed. "The doctor called." Se smiled.

"What!" I said In excitement.

"Yeah they said that he didn't wake up. But. But! His heart beat got stronger." She's said.

I smiled really big.

"It's nice to see you smile." Jared smiled at me.

"I'll be right back." I said as I ran to Joseph's room.

I knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" Iggy yelled.

I walked in.

"Your one and only best friend!" I smiled.

"My ex best friend who tried to kill me." She sighed.

"Okay I'm sorry. I would never do that it's just. Gosh! My brother is dying! He's dying Iggy! The one who protected me after our dad died. HES DYING." I said.

"We'll my boyfriends dying" she said still not looking at me.

"I approve of that by the way" I smiled.

She turned around.

"You do?" She smiled.

"Yeah, y'all all cute together" I smile back.

"You still tried to kill me" she sighed.

"I was going crazy" I said.

"Look I know your getting better but your still going crazy Alana." She said.

"Okay. So are we good." I asked.

"Yeah we're good. Best friends?" She asked with a cheesy smile.

"Yeah. Wanna go see Joseph with me tomorrow?" I asked.

"Yeah I'd love to. Oh and are you and Jared official?" She smirked.

"Yes we are" I laughed getting butterflies.
