Chapter 43

I'm not quite sure what happened yesterday. But all I can here is Iggy and Joseph bickering in the room beside mine.

IGGYS POV
"You shouldn't have beat him up" I tried explaining to Joseph.

"He was talking to my little sister!" Joseph yelled.

"Woah, babe calm down. He was just talking to her, he didn't touch her" I tried calming him down.

"He would have" he shook his head.

"What has been your problem lately? You've been acting really weird. Like you have mood swings" I said, sat down beside him, and started playing with his hair.

He sighed. Oh no.

"I love you" He looked at me.

"I know that. I love you too." I said back.

"And. I would do anything for you" he said.

"Joseph" I said.

"Are you sure you wanna have this baby?" He asked me.

Oh that made me mad.

I stood up. "YOURE STILL STUCK ON THAT" I said and walked over to his desk.

"Iggy" he said and stood up.

"You agreed to this. You said you would give the baby the parenting it needs and now you're freaking out all over again about it" I said not looking at him.

"I want this baby but-" he said before I cut him off.

"BUT WHAT JOSEPH! Gosh you get on my nerves with this. I can't do this alone and you're not wanting to help me!" I yelled.

"I love you" he said and grabbed my shoulder from behind.

"Don't touch me" I said and walked out.

ALANAS POV

"Alana" Jared said.

"Huh" I said and sat my phone on the table.

"My moms in the hospital" he looked down.

"What! Jared" I said and ran over to him.

He looked up at me with the saddest face I have ever seen. "She fell and hit her head and now she has brain damage." He said trying not to cry by looking away.

"Baby it's okay to cry in front of me" I said.

Right then he fell into my arms and let it out.

I looked up and saw Liberty.

"I'm sorry" she mouthed.

"Why don't you go get some rest" I said to Jared. He went upstairs.

"I wonder how bad it is" Liberty said.

"Well, it's brain damage. Never good when that happens" I sighed.

"Why is you're brother a total douche sometimes" Iggy came stomping down the stairs.

"He was born that way" I joked. "What did he do now?" I asked her.

"He's freaking out about the baby again. He asked me if I was sure about having it." she said.

"Idiot. Of course you're sure about having it. I thought you guys already discussed this" I said.

"We did. But he just is being Joseph." She pointed out.

"I want the baby Iggs, I just don't want it to be too hard on you" Joseph said coming down the stairs.

"Okay, well you two can talk it out. Liberty and I are going to go see Jareds mom" I said, grabbed Liberty and left.

(AT HOSPITAL)

"Room 301"

We walked down the hall to the room.

"Ma'am you have visitors" a nurse said and left the room.

"HI" I waved and walked in.

"Um... HI" she said.

"I brought you flowers" Liberty said.

I sat down beside her.

"Okay, well your son is doing great but he's sad you're here" I said.

"My son?" She asked me.

"Yeah" I smiled.

"Honey. Thank you for caring. But I'm not even married" she laughed.

"Okay, not funny" I laughed back.

"I'm serious. I don't know who you are and you're in here anyway" she laughed again.
