Chapter 25

"Honey wake up" someone was shaking me.

I opened my eyes. "Mom?" I asked.

"Hi!!" She smiled.

I sat up. "Oh my gosh I thought you weren't coming back until next year!" I hugged her.

"Well I got bored of California" she laughed.

"What did Joseph say when he saw you?" I asked.

"Nobody knows I'm here. There all downstairs eating breakfast." She smiled.

I smiled back.

"So why do we have a new house? And why is your ex boyfriend living in it?" She asked

"You missed a lot" I sighed as we both walked downstairs.

As soon as we got to the living room everybody was stunned.

"Mom!" Joseph said and ran and gave her a hug.

"Where's my Hannah bug?" She smiled.

We all looked at each other.

"What?" My mom asked worried.

We sat down at the table and told her everything.

"So, this is all your fault" she wiped away a tear and pointed to Reece.

He looked down "yes ma'am" he sighed.

Iggy rolled her eyes.

"And why are you in my house?" She asked him.

"I-" he started.

"Mom, he doesn't have anywhere to go. He's our friend now. Please please accept him." I whined.

"Okay, well I'm done with my food" Iggy said and stomped off to the kitchen.

"He killed my daughter and put my son in a coma" she yelled.

"That point has been made clear" I sassed.

"Look I love y'all but I can't stay here knowing this has happened." She got up and got her suitcase.

"Mom" Joseph said.

"What are you doing?" I finished.

"I'm going back to California" she walked out the door.

I got up and started running to the door.

Suddenly arms were wrapped around my waste trying to get me not to go.

I wasn't crying I just didn't want my momma to go.

I looked up to see Joseph.

"You have to let her go. She'll be back" he said as he let go of me.

(2 HOURS LATER)

REECES POV

I need to find a way to get Alana to like me.

I was sitting on the couch thinking.

Joseph came and sat on the couch in front of me.

"Are you okay man?" He asked me.

"Yeah dude, I'm fine" I smiled.

"You look like you're in really deep thought. Wanna tell me who it's about?" He smirked.

"This girl. I don't know how to make her like me. I like her. A LOT." I sighed.

"Go buy her something. She loves when boys buy her stuff" he smiled.

"You don't even know who she is" I said.

"Yeah I do" he hit my knee, smiled, and walked off.

ALANAS POV

I finally got everything unpacked. Ugg.

I miss hannah. I really do.

But my brothers back. Let's not cry for once.

I got up and looked out my window.

The cars driving by reminded me of when my mom had to drive me and Joseph to school and we all got in one big fight. Lol. The good old days. When my mom was here...... For good, and when Hannah was about to be born.

She only got five years of life. Only five.

Too much drama lol.

It's 11:30 pm.

"Hey beautiful" I heard a voice from my door say.

You have got to be kidding me.

I turned around.

"Hey" I said with my hands in my pockets.

"You okay?" Reece asked as he walked in.

I gave out a little chuckle. "What is okay?" I laughed.

"I'm sorry" he said.

"Reece-" I started.

"No" he said as he walked closer to me. "I ruined your life" he put his hand on my cheek. "If it wasn't for me, your baby sister would be here. And you would have had your big brother to protect you from me." He said.

"You don't have to keep apologizing" I said as a tear fell.

"Yeah" he inched his face closer. "Yeah I do" he kept getting closer.

I know what's about to happen. And I'm gonna let it. I need this right now.

Our lips connected and they moved in sinc slowly and passionately.

He wiped the tear off my face. "Goodnight" he said and walked out.

What just happened.

SHORT CHAPTER. I promise the next one will be longer than this one.
