Chapter 32

"When do you think he'll wake up?" Liberty asked.

His eyes slowly opened

"Now" I said.

"Why am I here" Jason asked.

"We were about to ask you the same question" Joseph said.

Jason spit on the ground.

"So you are up to something" I said.

"No, I'm just dying of thirst" he said.

"Why were you running in a black hoodie in the woods and why did you attack me?" I snarled.

"Look, I heard about what happened to Iggy so I came to look for her. after you called me that night there was a pit in my stomach because she got lost at my party. I walked out in the woods well, here that night, and tried to look for her" he said.

"Dude just give up" Reece said.

"You still didn't explain why you attacked me" I said.

"I thought that you kidnapped Iggy" he said.

"Yes, because I'm wearing a blue shirt and white jeans" I said. Pointing to the fact that I wasn't in black. This guy just can't stop can he.

"We don't have time for this" Joseph said sounded stressed.

"We know you're lying and we are gonna get the truth out of you one way or another no matter what it takes. I don't care who has to get hurt in your life. you took my girlfriend and I'm gonna get her back. NOW WHERE IS SHE" Joseph yelled right in Jason's face.

Jason just laughed.

"Jason I will hurt you don't think I wont. I lost my little sister and my other sister almost killed herself because I was gone. twice. my mom left cause she couldn't handle what was going on, in the middle of this Liberty's mom was murdered, and the whole entire time I was in a coma. Iggy was having a hard enough time dealing with that I refuse to lose her too" he said.

"So you choose to think I did it" Jason said cutting himself free. "believe what you want" he said and ran off.

"You're just gonna let him get away?" I yelled at Reece and Joseph.

"A, there's nothing we can do. He might have taken Iggy, he might not have" Reece told me.

"Um, it was pretty darn clear that he took my best friend. did you not see his smirk" I sassed.

"Alana chill we'll find out who took Iggy and call the cops, as simple as that" Joseph said.

"I know this is a completely different related topic, but can we try and find out way out of here? This place gives me the creeps" Liberty said.

"Yeah, might as well" Reece said.

We tried to find our way back to our car . And thankfully we finally did.

"Now how did we not find this when we looked last time" Liberty said in the voice she always says things in.

"Because my brother and my boyfriend don't know how to look" I said as we got in the car.

"So where are we going?" Liberty said.

"Home I guess" Joseph said.

We got home and went inside.

"This is such and empty place without Iggy" I said and sat down on the couch.

"I'm making shrimp!" Joseph yelled. "yours and Iggy's favorite" Joseph told me sad.

We were sitting at the table eating when Sarah came barging through the door.

"We can start the investigation, and we think we have a couple suspects" she said.

I stood up. "that's great!! I can't wa-" I started.

"But there is one problem" she said.

"What" I said.

"There's three suspects" she said.

"Why is that bad?" I asked.

"Well the first two are Jason, because she was gone at his party. And Silas, apparently Jason's younger brother." she said.

"Okay, and the third" I said worried.

"The third is Joseph" she spit out.

We all looked at each other. This is terrible.

"How can I be a suspect?" Joseph said.

"Well, they thought that since you two were dating before you we're put in the coma, that when you woke up you blamed her for everything that happened and wanted her gone. so some suspect her missing and some suspect her dead." she said looking down.

"Didn't you tell them that he didn't do it" Liberty said.

"I tried but since I just started this job like two months ago they won't let me have a say in it" she said.

"What do we do?" I said.

Suddenly there was the sound of a car door shutting outside.

"Sarah" I said.

"I'm sorry" she said.

Two police officers came in.

"We need to take you in for questioning" they said and took Joseph.
