Please Don't Leave Me

Chapter 6

I decided to stay home today. Just in case I would get sick again. But it's Saturday so I shouldn't miss anything.

"Hey tell mom that I'm going out with friends" Joseph said as he came in my room.

"But your probably not from that tone of voice" I said.

"So" he stated.

"Where are you going? I won't tell mom" I smiled.

"Nowhere" he said as he walked out of my room.

I got up and followed him out. "Joseph." I yelled.

"Okay I'm going to meet up with Reece" he said.

"Woah the guy who tried to beat you up? Oh wait the guy that actually beat you up." I said nervously.

"Alana just don't tell mom." He said as he ran out the door and got in his car.

Well he's dead.

"Where did he go?" My mom asked me. I just stared at her for a while trying to figure out what to say. "Um" I paused. "He went out with friends." I said as I walked in the kitchen.

"Okay well can you take your sister to dance practice?" She asked me. "What if I get sick again?" I asked raising my eyebrows. "Alana your taking Hannah to dance practice right now" she said as she walked to her room.

After me and Hannah got in the car I got a text from Liberty.

Liberty: I love you Alana, I always will

Me: what?

Liberty: will you remember me?

Me: Liberty what's going on?

She didn't answer.

Well that was weird. "You ready?" I asked Hannah. "Yeah" she replied with a smile.

After I dropped Hannah off I hurried to Liberty's house.

I quickly ran inside.

"Liberty?" I yelled.

Nothing.

Liberty?" I yelled again.

Still nothing.

I walked in the living room to a sight I never wanted to see.

Her mom stabbed to death.

Tears started filling up in my eyes. "Liberty!" I yelled even louder.

I heard glass brake in the kitchen. When I walked in the kitchen Liberty had broken the glass and was gonna cut herself with it. "Liberty!" I screamed as I ran over to her and grabbed the glass out of her hand.

She cried in my arms so hard. "Liberty what happened?" I asked. "I I donnttt knnow" she cried. "Do you wanna stay at my house tonight?" I asked her. She nodded her head yes. "I'm gonna have somebody take care of this okay" I smiled. She nodded her head again.

Joseph's POV

Okay I'm ready to do this.

I walked in to the prison that Reece wanted me to. "Hello?" I yelled

"Hello" and evil voice came from behind me. "Glad you came." Reece smirked. I turned around.

"What do you want Reece?" I asked him.

"Something. You won't ever find out though" he smiled.

He came closer to me. "Ya know I'm really good at finding things out it runs in my family." I smirked.

He quickly punched my stomach. I bent over in pain.

"That won't be the only thing running in your family" he said.

"Wha what are you t talking about?" I asked still in pain.

"Nothing really. But ya know who I hate" he stared.

"Who do you hate?" Another voice asked.

"That jared kid." He smirked.

"Why do you hate him?" I asked as I got up.

"Knock him out." Reece started.

"What?" I asked then everything went black.

Alana's POV

I called Iggy. Pick up pick up.

"Hello?" She asked. "Iggy come to Liberty's right now!" I yelled then hung up.

About 10 minutes later Iggy showed up. She looked at a crying depressed Liberty. "Um what happened?" Iggy said. "Go look inside" I told her.

When she came back out she was crying her eyes out with her hand over her mouth. "Lib!" She screamed and hugged her. "I'm so sorry!"

I called Jared too. He just showed up. "Okay what do you need me to do?" He asked. "Can you take her my house and stay there and wait for me?" I asked him. "Yeah why can't I leave her alone though?" He asked. I got up and walked over to him. "She tried to kill herself" I whispered in his ear. He nodded his head and took Liberty to his car.

"What did you tell him?" Iggy tried not crying. "Liberty tried to kill herself iggs." I said starting to tear up.

When me and Iggy got to my house we hurried inside.

"She's been good" Jared said pointing to a crying Liberty On the couch. Iggy rushed over To her. "Thanks for watching her" I said smiling at Jared.

"Anything for you" he smiled back.

"Ill be down in a little bit" I told Iggy.

I walked up to my room looking out the window. Today has been awful.

"You okay?" I voice behind me asked.

I knew it was Jared. "Yeah just a little upside down" I laughed.

I turned around. "Ya know everything has a reason." He smiled.

"Yeah but Liberty's mom is dead." I said.

"I know and it's hard on you to watch her in this much pain." He said coming closer me.

"I can't take it Jared" I started crying.

"Alana" he said giving me a hug. His head resting on my head. "Your strong though" he told me.

I looked up at him. "Why are you doing that?" I asked him.

"Doing what?" He asked.

"Looking at me like I mean something to you" I chuckled.

"Because you do" he stared at me.

We stared at each other for a while then he slowly leaned down and passionately kissed me.
