Please Don't Leave Me

Chapter 22

I looked at Liberty who was balling her eyes out and looking at me.

"JOSEPH!" I screamed.

His eyes opened.

Everybody stopped.

The nurses stopped pulling me and instead they let go of me.

A little noise came out of his mouth.

I ran over to him.

"Joseph?" I asked grabbing his hand.

"A a Alana?" He tried to say.

I started crying. But not sad tears. Tears of joy.

My brothers awake. My brothers alive.

"I'm right here" I smiled.

He looked up at me with his bright blue eyes.

"I've missed you" he whispered.

"You have no idea how much I've missed you" I cried.

"Okay now you need to leave ma'am" a nurse said.

I turned my head around in complete anger. "My brother just came back from the dead. You have no right to make me leave him again. He was dead. He was dead and now he's alive. I wanna spend as much time as I can with him."

"But sweety-" she started.

"Tell me one more time to leave honey and see what happens" I gave her a death stare.

All the nurses and doctors walked out of the room leaving me, Iggy, and Joseph.

"Calm down sassy" Joseph kind of laughed.

I laughed back.

Ring ring.

"Oh sorry I have to take this" Iggy said and walked out.

"Do you know?" Joseph asked me.

"About you and Iggy? Yeah I know" I said.

"Are you mad?" He asked.

"No." I smiled.

He laughed.

"But, I am however gonna kill you for getting into this much trouble" I pointed my finger at him.

"Well, I might have to get into another one with him. Once I get out he'll be mad and come after me." He said.

"No. Reece won't be comin after anybody. I got that take care of. He's my friend now." I smiled.

Joseph sat up. "Your friend? Alana he tried to kill me" he spat.

"I know that and believe me we had our arguments okay and they weren't pretty." I said.

"So that's it?" He said.

"Jo, I tried to kill him. I got depressed and tried to kill myself. Twice. I got so mad at everybody around me. I even tried to kill my best friend for crying out loud" I said.

"You tried to kill Iggy?" he looked at me weird.

"Yeah." I looked down.

"um he can go home anytime he would like" the doctor said.

"Yes! Let's go home." He said.

"Yeah, about our home" I started.

Iggy came running in all smiles.

"WE HAVE ANOTHER HOUSE!" she screamed in excitement.

"Another house?" Joseph said.

"Bad storm, tornado, bye bye house, moved into Jared's." I said.

"And all my stuff?" Joseph asked.

"Like I said, me being depressed.... I boxed it all up." I smiled.

He smiled.

He slowly got out of bed and stood up.

He gave me the tightest hug ever.

"I'm so sorry you had to go through that A" he said still squeezing me.

"I should have been stronger" I said in his shoulder.

"No. You did just fine" he let go.

(IN THE CAR)

"So iggs, you said we got a new house. Where is it? Can we go to it now?" I asked her.

"Yeah we can. It's just down this road" she said from the backseat.

"Where's my Hannah bug?" Joseph said.

I started to tear up but wanted to stay strong for Joseph.

"Um, promise me you won't get mad at Reece" I said.

"What?!" Iggy said.

"Iggy you don't know what happened so just don't talk right now" I said to her.

"I think I know what happened" Joseph said looking out the window.

"He didn't mean to k k- kill her Joseph." I sighed.

"How can you kill somone on accident A?" he said.

'"He tried to kill jared. Which now I wish he would have" I mumbled. But they still heard me.

"Okay I'm not mad at him but I am really mad that Hannah's not here." He started tearing up but stopped himself. "What did Jared so to you" he said sternly.

"Hit on Liberty" I said with a discussed look.

"What!" Iggy said.

"Uggggggg I can't find this house and it's late Iggy. Let's crash here in the car" I said as I parked the car.

Joseph's alive! But Hannah's not and that's a big bummer. Do you think Alana will go for Reece or stay with Jared? Who knows.
