The sound of the pounding hooves and the rustling leaves of the forest were in the background as they rushed through the wind. Kohl's scent filled her nose time after time and oh...how Arya hated that she loved this man's scent.

The ride hurt, every time her behind went up and down in the saddle, it hurt so much. She was sore from yesterday and almost got no sleep tonight because she had cried all night long. They were on their way to the kingdom of Geara now, where Kohl ruled over about four thousand people. Most men living in Geara were warriors and therefore, even though the kingdom was small, it was very strong.

Brianna also joined Arya, to live by her side as her handmaid in Geara but she was traveling by horse with Aema. Arya didn't know where they were, Kohl and Aema apparently didn't ride together. They started off together, but they had lost each other on the way, and so, Arya had lost Brianna too.

She didn't know how long she could keep up with this.

With all of this.

The pain she felt physically, but also the pain she felt mentally. She had been so disgusted with herself since yesterday. When she thought about her own moans when Kohl had his way with her, she just wanted to die.

It was almost dark now and Kohl stopped close to a cave. "We will sleep in here during the night," the alpha said while he jumped to his feet and tied the horse to a tree trunk.

He then grabbed Arya by her waist and pulled her off the horse as well.

"Aahhh!" Arya let out a cry of pain when Kohl put her down on the ground.

Kohl looked at her with a certain look, one that said: Stop with your whining, yet he still asked, "what's wrong?"

"You! That's what's wrong," Arya hissed at Kohl. She might be an omega but she was not afraid to speak up when she felt like it.

Kohl only smirked. "Still angry about last night, hm? You can pretend all you want but it was you who came and fell apart with my cock inside of you, remember?" Kohl took a step closer to Arya till they were only an arm's length apart.

Arya knew it all too well. It was all that was on her mind, and it repulsed her. "It's because you marked me!" she shouted. "I can't control it, it's my inner omega," she then said softly, shamefully. Oh, how she hated the man! She wished Kohl would just drop dead!

"You knew I would mark you that night, you were bound to me ever since I won the tournament," Kohl explained, taking another step forward.

"You could have talked to me first. You didn't have to treat me like I'm one of your slaves. You hurt me," Arya talked back while looking Kohl in the eyes.

It was the first time they had a conversation that lasted longer than a few words.

They stood between the trees of the forest as the last sunshine of the day shone through the leaves and Kohl saw the glossy, teary big brown eyes and a small part of him felt sorry. Just a moment, a second maybe, there was a pang of guilt in his heart. But then he remembered that he had no heart. Not since her death. She had been the only person he had ever loved in his life, and after she was taken from him, he hated everyone and everything and he swore to never love again.

"I will collect wood for a fire, I'm tired of your whining," he said and he walked away.

When the alpha was out of sight, Arya grabbed a couple of yellow Silphium petals out of her pocket. Yesterday, she had asked Brianna for this flower after Kohl had left her in pain. The plant worked against pregnancies. She quickly put some petals in her mouth, because there was no way she wanted a child from that man.

It had been a warm day today, so they didn't need a fire to stay warm, but Kohl said it would keep the wild animals away. He made a small campfire and was currently roasting a piece of rabbit on a stick above it. When it was all cooked through and ready to eat, he gave the piece to Arya.

"I don't want it," Arya said stubbornly, not wanting anything coming from that man.

"Then don't eat, suit yourself. I'm not gonna beg you to eat, you spoiled princess."

Kohl stuffed the piece of meat in his mouth and juices oozed out of the succulent meat and drizzled down his chin. Arya could see the piece of meat rolling around in his mouth as he chewed with an open mouth as a real barbarian and she found it all but uncivilized.

Her stomach thought otherwise, though, and it protested with a grumble. She was hungry too, but Arya was stubborn, so she laid down instead, praying to the gods that Kohl would leave her alone tonight.

Arya woke up in the middle of the night, relieved that Kohl had let her sleep peacefully until she heard a sound next to her.

"No." It was Kohl that whispered, still asleep. Arya watched for a while, looking at how the alpha was making uncontrolled moves, and breathed oddly. "Don't...I--" Kohl mumbled in his sleep, obviously having a nightmare.

Arya rolled over as she didn't care if the man had a nightmare or not, but her inner omega was screaming to help her alpha. "Sorry...no...Isoldi..." Kohl breathed out loud.

Arya sighed. She then sat up and shook Kohl by his shoulder. "Kohl!"

Kohl woke up with a startle and didn't know where he was for a second. He grabbed Arya's throat and slammed her down, hovering over her and looking down at her with the eyes of a mad man.

"Kohl, it's me," Arya said while she half choked.

Kohl came to his senses again and he let go of the other's throat. "What did you do?" he asked, trying to catch back his breath.

Arya needed oxygen too. Her throat hurt from the strong grip. "Y-you were having a nightmare, I just woke you up," she said and then coughed.

Kohl still laid on top of her and after a brief moment, he buried his nose against Arya's neck, to take in the sweet scent while his hands grabbed Arya's hips.

"Kohl!" Arya yelled. She didn't wake the man up for this! "I'm still hurt, please! The horseback ride made it worse. Please don't!" she begged when she felt Kohl's hand finding its way inside her pants.

"Fine. I won't. But you can please me in another way..."

~

As Kohl slept, Arya was still awake, sitting up with her knees pulled to her chest. She watched the fire dance around, and listened to the sound of the crackling wood that sputtered while the branches turned into ash. Arya wished to be one of those branches. She thought about killing herself, but she knew her father would be in great sadness.

"Ah." She flinched as she touched her lips. They hurt, they felt raw, and her teeth stood marked in the flesh of her upper lip.

She could taste a little blood. Her jaw was in pain, her throat too, and the bitter taste of the cum was still in her mouth, even after all the spitting she had done. It was disgusting.

A tear rolled on her cheek and for a moment, she was surprised she still had tears left.

"I hate you," she said while looking at Kohl. She hated him so much.

 She hated him so much
