It was the middle of the night when Eva read the old letters. It was a little stack of them that she'd carried with her as long as she stayed in castle Geara.
Tears drizzled down her pale face for they brought her back to painful and joyful times.
Dearest Mira,
Eva laughed. Mira...that was her real name. And she once lived in this castle, long ago. She couldn't let anyone know it yet. She couldn't let him know yet, what if he wouldn't believe her?
I miss you. I wish we could meet but I can't leave the castle at this moment. I miss your touch, your warmth... Your Isoldi--your lover, misses you so dearly.
This was definitely hers to keep. She opened up another one.
The King treats him well. Pascal is growing to be a fine young man. He is so good to his little brother. And Kohl on his turn always goes to seek his big brother. Those boys are like two peas in a pod. Your son is the only one who will give that little boy some family love. I hate his parents, Mira, I hate them!
That letter was stacked neatly on the left pile of letters, the one for Pascal.
This letter pained her heart, she felt so sad when she thought about those brothers now. They were definitely not two peas in a pod anymore.
She opened another.
I have asked the head servant if I could take care of little Kohl because I couldn't stand it any longer. The way he is treated. It broke my heart, seeing him like this. The head agreed, so I am Kohl's nanny from now on. I will try to be so much more for him. He needs to feel loved and be loved too. Thank goodness he has Pascal. Your son is a good boy, but he's only a child himself, he can't give Kohl what he needs.
That was one for Kohl's pile of letters.
When all of this is over, she'll give both brothers their childhood memories, seen through the eyes of her deceased lover.

Arya opened her eyes and yawned silently. A new day has come. She laid in bed alone, but it wasn't her bed.
She smiled, thinking of how she had slept in Kohl's arms tonight, against his warmth. Well, she actually only slept for a little bit...
Arya blushed when flashes of last night came to her mind. What Kohl's face had looked like during pleasure and how the man's body was filling her. Thoughts, that made her heart rate go faster.
She heard the sounds of splashing water and sat up to look into the large room. It appeared that there was another person still there.
It was Kohl, who was washing himself, oblivious that his mate had woken up.
Arya licked her lips as she watched Kohl clean his naked, muscled body. She then looked down at her own chest and felt dirty. She was all stained with dried-up cum, slick, drool, and sweat. She could use a wash herself.
"Wash me too, when you are done with yourself?" she asked out loud.
The alpha turned around and Arya saw a small smile before he answered back, "don't you know how to wash yourself?"
"I do, but I thought maybe you want to do it."
She didn't know why she was so flirty all of a sudden. Maybe she'd found some new confidence last night.
