"Can't you do something about these foul beast-like men of yours, Pascal," Ezra said, whiningly while looking at the nasty eating people of Geara who occasionally also fucked in between.
"Ez...let the men be the men. Why do you care?"
Ezra snorted with irritation. "They repulse me, that's why. I can't eat like this. You know I've always hated this behavior when I came to visit. But now I actually live here"
"Don't be angry, baby. But please, you should stop with the whining. Don't act like a spoiled little bitch, ok?"
"Pascal!"
Pascal chuckled. "Well, you are. I've listened to your whining about that witch woman. I agreed that I'll take extra precaution for when my--already dead--brother "returns". But I only did that because you asked me, not because I believe one thing this Eva woman says. Kohl is dead. But for my baby, I'll do anything and everything. Cause you're my little bitch, aren't you? Hm?" He tickled Ezra's side, making his omega mate giggle.
"I am. But I'm just so scared dear, that she might be right," Ezra whined again.
Eva had left them a while ago with the promise that she would return to help them. Pascal wasn't looking forward to it but Ezra wanted her to come back.
"Don't be, nothing will happen, baby. I tell you, Kohl is dead."
A man looked at the horrible scene that took place in front of him and almost gagged. "Look at those two. They make me want to throw up. Disgusting!" Aema hissed.
Magnus elbowed him. "Shut up, man. Do you want to get flogged again? The Geara you remember is gone, Aema. More than half of our army consists of Moonia warriors now. Pascal can do whatever he wants."
"Ugh, which army?"
They didn't even train together, the men from Geara and the men from Moonia. They were enemies, yet now in the same army and it was pathetic.
"And Moonia guards are walking around in the castle too, they hear everything. So shut up," Magnus added.
Aema sighed.
After a few minutes, his attention was pulled to another person. He grabbed his beer and took a big sip before he stood up and anxious but determined, he walked over to Brianna.
Yes, they'd had sex but they still hadn't really talked all that much.
"Uhm... H-hi, Brianna." Brianna smiled. "Can we talk?" Aema asked with red cheeks.
Brianna nodded. It was funny how a big brute of an alpha warrior could be such a scared little boy in front of her.
"Come with me. I deserve to have a little break now anyway," Brianna said while she pulled Aema by his wrist.

It was exactly one week ago that Kohl came home after spending a day in the pit.
His wounds were all healed up and he really wanted to start their little journey to Oprela but Arya wanted to wait for Mira so that she could say goodbye.
Kohl obliged his omega and they agreed to stay until she returned.
For the past week, they'd spent their days in peace together. Kohl had collected his sword and trained in the garden most hours of the day. He also mentored Arya, so that she could improve her archery skills. Arya was now a lot better with the bow and arrows than she was one and a half weeks ago.
Except for a few small words, they hadn't argued or quarreled. They even laughed together a few times. It was nice. Like they'd started to become...friends?
