Arya wrapped Kohl's wounded knuckles after she had cleaned them as gently as she could. She also reassured Kohl more than once that she really had no desire in marrying Leonidas, for she already had a mate.
"Besides that, my father told me this morning that the man will leave tomorrow," Arya explained.
"Good. He should if he wants to stay alive." Kohl snorted.
Arya rolled her eyes.
Alphas...
"I'm done. Try to keep your hands intact and clean for now. You can't go to Geara in 2 days with your hands full of infections and wounds."
"..."
Kohl stretched his fingers. His skin pulled and it hurt. He knew that Arya was right.
"Speaking of Geara... What will you do to Pascal?" Arya asked while she stood up and sat on the chair next to Kohl.
"You are asking me questions that you already know an answer to." Kohl shall end Pascal, once and for all. His brother had really overstepped the line this time. Geara belonged to him, and now his brother will pay the price.
"Was it always like this between you two?" Arya asked. They had talked about Kohl's parents, which made her happy because Kohl was opening up to her step by step, but they hadn't talked about the relationship between him and his brother.
"He betrayed me before."
Arya cautiously asked a little further. "Was that the reason that he wasn't allowed to enter certain areas of the castle?" Kohl nodded. "What did he do?"
"It was his fault that Isoldi got killed. I'm sure he did it on purpose. Just to take away the only person that I had left. So, then I took away the only he had left as well."
"His father."
Kohl nodded again. Even though he hated his father, Pascal did not. Why would he? The King always treated him like the best son. Why was his father so biased over Pascal? Kohl did not know.
"Did you love him before, when you were younger?"
"I don't know much about my earlier life." Kohl sighed. "Can we just not talk about that rat."
"Ok...then...let's eat. You must be hungry after all that exercise. I want to eat together with you, here. I'll tell the servants to bring some food."

"Do you think you have enough like this?" Thaksin asked Kohl.
"Yes."
Kohl looked at the big pile of wood. The men had worked hard to collect such a big amount.
But they weren't done working yet. It shall take a few days to transfer this enormous amount of wood to Geara and build the horse there. Kohl knew all the spots in Geara and which were safe to stay at and build up camp. They shall have 3 days to get everything done. It looked almost impossible, but he knew they'd succeed in it. Kohl had always been good at planning cunning lists.
"Are you really positive this will work?" Thaksin asked. He was a little worried, especially because his daughter would be there too. Arya wasn't like them, she wasn't a man nor an alpha. She wasn't tough or rough.
"It will work," Kohl said. He had to believe it himself.
"Because Arya will be there too..." Thaksin said with a worried voice.
"I know. I told her to stay here but she wants to come no matter what, and I will not stop her. I will not go against her will anymore."
"Kohl?"
