Kohl had grabbed Arya by her head and dragged her on her hairs towards the bed, throwing her onto the sheets, telling her he had a rough day today and he could do anything he wanted because she was his omega.

He then had locked the door and Arya had tried to get away from him but she wasn't able to.

"It's ok, I just need your body to have my ways with. I just need your fucks."

When Kohl had released his alpha pheromones, Arya weakened immediately and she hated that. She was more scared of her own feelings at such a point than she was afraid of her alpha.

And Kohl had laughed, knowing all too damn well.

"I don't need your love, love. But I'm pleased that you're so responsive to my scent.

As Arya walked outside, she tried to forget about what had happened this morning but it was hard to push those thoughts aside. She searched for the palace gardens, thinking it might give her some comfort, just like how she found comfort in the beautiful gardens of her home Oprela.

But this garden was nothing like home. It wasn't taken care of and weeds had overgrown the whole place. There hardly were flowers and the few flowers that were present weren't as pretty as the ones in Oprela. It was a miserable garden. Maybe Arya should ask Kohl if he could hire some good gardeners? And maybe they could build her a nice shelter, where Arya could sit in the shade and enjoy life outside.

She was in Geara for a few days now but she couldn't get used to her new life so she would like to have a place for hir outside, where she and Brianna could retreat a little.

While she was in thoughts, she felt a pair of eyes gazing at her. She looked up and found the owner of the dark irises: they were Pascal's.

Her brother-in-law approached her. "Arya, I'm prince Pascal. We haven't met yet, but I'm Kohl's half-brother."

Pascal then took Arya's hand in his and placed a kiss on top of it. His lips were soft and gentle. Arya loved the feeling but she pulled her hand away nonetheless when she felt her cheeks blushing.

"I know. I saw you in the arena the other day."

"Aha, yes. You saw my ass being kicked by my brother. I know, I noticed you too...How could I not?" Arya couldn't help but smile at the man's words. "But we haven't been introduced properly to each other. So, when I saw you walking towards the gardens, I kind of followed you." Pascal said, looking at Arya with a playful smile on his face.

"Haha, oh..."

"So how is life in Geara for you?"

"..."

What could Arya say? She wasn't going to spill anything about her miserable married life to the man that was her husband's hated brother.

"That bad, huh?" Pascal asked, his face serious. Arya turned around and started walking further in the garden, followed by Pascal at her side. "You know, my brother is somewhat of a brute but he isn't purely evil."

In her mind, Arya disagreed about that, but she kept silent. "I thought you 2 weren't getting along so well," she then stated.

"Oh, did he say that?" Pascal asked.

"No, but I heard it."

"Well, what you heard is correct. But I love my brother. It's him who hates me."

"Why?"

"When we were younger, I was always stronger and therefore our father favored me more. Kohl developed a hatred towards me because of that. I can't blame him, our father was a difficult man and Kohl took most of the hits."
