"Kohl? Kohl is alive and inside that horse as we speak?" Aema asked while he looked at the large animal standing on the sand of the arena.
"I swear, it's true. And he wants to talk to you," Kieran replied, feeling Magnus's tight grip still at the back of his neck.
Aema couldn't believe it, but still, he knew it was true. He might not be handy with love or reading certain emotions and feelings, but he was often able to see if people told the truth or a lie. And this boy was telling the truth, Aema was sure of it. Still, how was this possible? How the hell could Kohl have survived?
"Bring me to him," he ordered Kieran.

Arya was nervous. Every minute that passed brought her closer to the time of the attack. She was afraid that something bad might happen.
"Ah, we meet again, and so soon..."
A familiar voice made her turn around.
"King Leonidas," she said and curtsied.
She really was not in the mood to talk to this man. Not again. Leonidas had finally left the palace in Oprela and here he was again!
"That horse you and your father brought along with you was quite impressive, I have to say. I never knew Oprela had such traditions, like burning a wooden horse for good luck."
Arya took a sip from her chalice and after she swallowed the red wine, she answered, "Well, I'm sure that there are more things about Oprela that you don't know, King Leonidas."
"True."
Where was her father when she needed him? Arya hoped that Thaksin could save her from talking to this dreadful man again, but her father was socializing with members of other kingdoms.
While Leonidas was yapping on, Arya didn't pay much attention to his tales, instead, her mind was with her husband. Was Kohl ok? Was the plan going to work?
She looked at Pascal and Ezra. The couple looked so happy together, touching and caressing each other. They seemed to really love each other.
For a moment, Arya felt bad about what would happen. About what Kohl would do to them, but she let that feeling of guilt go. What had to be done, had to be done. Why would she care anyway? When they poisoned her husband and threw the both of them out of the castle, they didn't seem to care about her or Kohl either.

Aema and Magnus followed Kieran. Without anyone looking at them, Aema and Kieran climbed inside the horse, whilst Magnus stayed outside, to stand guard.
The guards that were outside in the first place were sent indoors by Aema with some lame excuse. They didn't question the Gearian commander, even though they were from Moonia originally because Aema stood high in rank and they seemed to respect that.
Aema crawled through the little opening in the side of the horse and when he stood back up on his feet again, he realized he stood between sixty sweaty, growling alpha soldiers.
One man got his attention immediately. "Kohl?" Aema whispered.
Kohl's lips curled up a little.
Aema quickly kneeled, "My King," he said and lowered his head.
"Stand up straight, Aema."
Aema stood and looked up with a smile. He couldn't believe his King lived! He was so thankful for this! It was a miracle.
