Kohl and Arya had breakfast with some other members of the castle. "Aema, I want to train with the bow and arrow today," Kohl told the trustworthy commander.

He hadn't been training his archery skills for quite a while it was important to keep on track with every fighting skill he possessed and with every weapon.

"Very well," Aema said before he looked at Brianna from his peripheral vision. He thought the woman was so lovely.

Aema himself was an Alpha. He was also a hard trained member and head of Kohl's army of warriors. And probably one of the best fighters in all of Geara. But with love or lusts, he had no experience. He should just let his Alpha-side run after Brianna, but he couldn't. He was a weak Alpha when it came to claiming a mate.

He caught himself acting silly this morning when he again was secretly sniffing his horse's saddle to catch a scent of the handsome woman. Sadly, the scent was gone today. For the last few days, the scent of Brianna had lingered on the saddle of his horse.

When Brianna looked at him, Aema quickly looked away.

"Have you heard me, Aema?!" Kohl asked.

"I'm sorry. What did you tell me, my King?" Aema asked when he heard Kohl's stern voice talking to him. He was so dumb to be distracted by the lovely creature in front of him again.

"I said I also want to practice with the ax. And I want the men to be drilled today. Properly drilled!" Kohl ordered.

"Very well, my King," Aema said and he scraped his throat.

Kohl then brought his attention to his wife. "Today, I'll have somebody look after that gardener you asked for," he said.

"Good," Arya replied, without paying any further attention to Kohl.

Since last night, they hadn't talked. They normally never did, and Kohl wondered why it stung him this time. No! Actually he didn't care, at all! Why would he? Yet, after another moment of silence, he said:

"You can ask for anything you want. I'll tell the gardener to grant your wishes."

"Ok," Arya answered.

Why did Arya not look at him? Kohl regretted his previous comment. Why was Arya whining about the garden anyway? She was just an arrogant spoiled omega. Kohl knew all too well how his wife found his castle only all but mediocre. This was the last time that he would grant such absurd wishes. There was nothing wrong with his royal garden!

While Kohl glared at Arya, somebody came in with a message for the king. Kohl unfolded the large paper roll and began to read the message, leaving Arya surprised that Kohl even knew how to read. She didn't think the barbarian would have the brains to do so.

"We will have a royal visitor soon," Kohl said.

"Who will visit us?" Arya asked, curious.

"Prince Ezra."

"Prince Ezra?" Arya asked with some joy. She'd never met the prince of Moonia.

"Yes, you know him?" Kohl asked.

"I don't, but I have heard a great deal about him."

Ezra was an omega royal, just like Arya was. And he was very beautiful according to the tales.

"I've known him since my youth," Kohl said, while he stood up. Arya didn't know that. Kohl didn't show much emotion. Was he happy that Ezra would come, or not? "Let's train," Kohl told Aema.

After the 2 alphas left, Arya saw them through the window a while later, as they walked towards the arena, which was close to the castle.

Arya thought back about last night. It was pleasurable, also for her and she was glad she made such a good deal. Now, the next step for Kohl was to show a little respect towards her. The omega smiled, feeling very self-satisfied.
