As Mira was washed, Arya and Kohl separated after an emotional night. Mira was exhausted and could sleep for a few hours first. If she was able to do that.
In the meantime, Kohl, Aema, and the rest of the soldiers took care of the castle and the people living in it. There were wounded men that needed help and Moonia enemies that needed to be dealt with. There was also damage done to the castle that needed repairing.
Arya visited her father, Thaksin, who stayed in one of the many chambers in the castle. The old man was tired after last night's events. He had been so afraid for Arya's wellbeing these last few hours.
Arya was tired too, but she didn't go back to her room. She needed someone now that Kohl was busy with other things. She needed her friend.

"Oh, Brianna," Arya cried out and threw herself in the arms of her best friend when they finally met again. Brianna did the same.
"My Queen," the beta said as she held her tight.
Yes, Arya was her Princess, her Queen, but firstly, Arya was her friend. "I'm so happy to see you alive. So happy."
Arya cried on Brianna's shoulder. From joy, from sadness, but mostly from being so Goddamn exhausted. Brianna was drained too, just as everybody else was. Nobody had slept last night. It had been a crazy few hours.
They both dropped on Brianna's bed and Arya explained everything to her friend. Everything that had happened and everything that will happen. How her life had been with Kohl these past few weeks, the fighting they had done, the forgiving, the loving. She told about how they had planned to attack Geara, using the horse to get inside. Brianna couldn't believe how someone could come up with such a plan. Arya explained that only her husband was capable of such things.
And they talked about Mira.
"She is inside the castle as we speak. I think she will be brought to us when Kohl is done with things that need to be taken care of."
"I'm so sorry, Arya," Brianna said.
"I am too. She must have had such a horrible night in that hole."
Brianna patted Arya's shoulder. "I am right here if you need me."
"I know..." Arya rubbed the palm of her hand against Brianna's hand that still rested on her shoulder. She felt a ring that wasn't there before.
"So...you and Aema?"
"Yes. Funny, is it not?"
"No, not funny. Actually, I'm happy for you. Aema is a good man, isn't he?"
Brianna smiled. "He is. I feel safe with him. And...I feel so loved too."
That news made Arya so happy in these times of sorrow.

"How is he doing?" Kohl asked when entering Magnus's room.
"He hasn't woken up yet," Kieran explained.
The younger had been sitting beside that flirting, rude alpha all night. He felt like he needed to because it was that flirting, rude alpha that had saved his life.
"He will survive. He's like weed. No matter how much you try to get rid of it, it just won't go away."
"Shut the f-fuck up. M-my King." Magnus muttered, his eyes still closed.
"See?"
Kieran was so relieved. He had to chuckle at that comment. Who woke up like that? Aema laughed too. Even Kohl did, though his smile faded quickly, for it wasn't a day to laugh. He felt nervous thinking about meeting Mira. And he felt scared about what he soon had to do.
