It was the morning that Kohl shall leave. Just him and about 60 warriors and 10 engineers. The men will be informed during the road. They'll then hear who Kohl really is and what the plans were. Only the first commander of Oprela's army, Brutus, already knew about it.
"Keep safe," Arya told Kohl while they stood close to each other, still in her room.
"I will." Kohl felt a little uncomfortable about what to say next. "So...I guess, I will just go then..." He spoke and wanted to turn around.
"I'll walk with you to wave you and the other warriors goodbye, but..." Arya grabbed Kohl's wrist and pulled at it, making Kohl bump against her chest. "Shouldn't we say goodbye in a little more intimate way first...?" She smiled.
Kohl slowly brought his hand to Arya's right cheek and caressed it, a finger dipping into the little dimple when she laughed.
Kohl didn't like to say goodbye. He never had problems with leaving before because he never had someone to say goodbye to.
"We will see each other in a few days," he said. "But think carefully if you wouldn't rather stay here--"
"I want to join you," Arya stated while she rubbed her cheek in his big palm. She then twisted her neck a little bit so Kohl's thumb was in front of her soft lips and she opened up to take the finger inside her mouth. She softly sucked on it and let her tongue swirl around the tip of his finger.
"Jesus..." Kohl cursed and he clenched his jaw a few times.
His mate had been quite insatiable these last 2 days. Not that Kohl minded that one bit...
Arya laughed softly and let go of his thumb. They fucked for hours last night, and she just wanted to give her alpha something that would make him excited for when they would meet again.
She leaned in and gave Kohl a peck on the lips and a tight hug. Kohl brought his arms around Arya as well and embraced the enticing-smelling woman before him.
His woman.
It was still a bit weird to cuddle someone, though.
"Let's go, they're waiting outside," Arya said.

When Ezra woke up, Pascal was already awake, looking at the ceiling while his big hands caressed his omega's back. Ezra laid on his chest, ear to his heart.
"Are you ok, dear?" Ezra asked.
"Hmm," Pascal hummed in agreement.
"Are you sure? You seem nervous."
"No, baby. It's all good," the alpha lied.
Truthfully, he was a little nervous. What if Eva was right and his brother would really be alive and coming for him? He didn't know if he had it in him to kill the man for a second time.
While he always had a big mouth about Kohl, he sometimes felt a little guilty about his action, even though Kohl fully deserved what came to him.
At other times, he didn't feel guilty at all. Why would he feel guilty anyway? It was Kohl that made his life a living hell. His younger brother killed their father. Kohl never said it, but Pascal just knew he did, and after that, Kohl had banished him to the tower.
His father was a horrible man to Kohl, but to Pascal, he was good. At least Pascal had someone in his life since Kohl didn't want to have anything to do with him anymore. But then the King was killed by his little brother's hands and that same little brother became the next King, while Pascal was the older one. And what happened to him? He was muffled away to a certain part of the castle and could only stay there, on that side, and in the arena to train. That was it. It was as if he was a slave himself instead of a prince! And all because Kohl had found him to be a traitor, but he was not. Not back then at least.
