ROBIN AND LOKI APPROACHED the figure with caution. Who knew what would happen? You could never be too careful in an unknown land. Especially an ancient unknown land.

"Excuse me?" Robin called out after having an argument with Loki using nothing but their eyes. The person turned, looking at the boy with dead eyes. "Mr D?" Robin murmured, eyebrows furrowing.

"What did you call me?" The person demanded, words slurring. It made Robin uneasy. Was this really Dionysus?

"Oh, I should've mentioned... this is not your reality," Blake said, having returned in the time Robin and Loki had approached who they assumed was Dionysus. "No one knows you here," Blake continued, jumping down from the tree they had appeared in. They tilted their head at the fake Dionysus. "Huh, something went wrong there."

Faster than Robin could blink, Loki had Blake pinned up against the very tree they jumped down from with a knife at their throat.

"Loki-!" Robin took a step forward, going to pull the man away, but the Norse god raised a hand, signalling for him to stop.

"What have you done to us? Where have you taken us?" Loki demanded, his tone low and threatening.

Blake was unaffected. They tilted their head, as if bored. "I told you, ancient Greece," They stated, eyes narrowing. "Alternate reality ancient Greece, but ancient Greece all the same."

Loki pressed the blade down on their throat, earning a wince from them that did not go unnoticed by Robin, who was not sure what to do in this situation. Did he intervene? He was not sure. On one side, he did not want Loki to kill them, but on the other side he knew that he had a point.

"You shouldn't kill me," Blake stated. "Otherwise you can't get home."

Loki hissed, quite literally. "I can still hurt you, badly," He said, his voice no louder than a whisper.

"It's against your best interest," They said, glaring back at the god.

Robin decided to pull Loki away, finally, giving Blake some breathing room. He looked at the time traveler. "Can you take us back?" He asked.

They nodded, and grabbed the wrists of both boys. In seconds, they were back to their reality and their time period. Unfortunately, they were stuck in unknown surroundings.

They were in a long, door and windowless hallway. Tiled floors made for their movements to echo, while the dark grey walls and ceiling gave a rather depressing impression.

Robin could already guess what Loki was going to do, and held his arm to keep him from doing anything. Glancing at Blake, he frowned upon seeing their own confusion. They were glancing down at their hands, the expression on their face hard for Robin to decipher. Distressed was the best word to describe it.

Footsteps approached rather quickly. Robin sent Blake a panicked look. He really was not in the mood to deal with anyone, especially if the people approaching happened to be the Avengers tracking their magic. Blake just glared back at him, still unable to use their powers. This meant they would have to fight their way out of this one. Loki pulled out dual knives, and Robin took out his sword before ultimately remembering it would only work on Thor, if anyone, and sighed knowing he would have to use his currently unstable powers for this. Blake took out a pocket knife, and simply shrugged when they received looks from the two men.

The footsteps came closer, just around the corner. To Robin's surprise, it was not the Avengers who turned the corner. No, it was a group of people wearing heavy armour and carrying large guns, with the HYDRA symbol on it.

"Shit," Robin muttered. There was no way to avoid the HYDRA soldiers. They had been spotted. The guns were raised towards the group.

Blake sighed and took a step behind Loki, using the god as a shield. "We were doomed from the start, weren't we?"

Loki rolled his eyes. "This is your fault, mortal," He snapped.

Blake hissed at him in return, but had no time to throw out a comeback as they were getting shot at. For the most part, the trio managed to avoid getting hit. The problem was, however, that they were outnumbered and their powers were not functioning. So all they had to defend themselves were... knives. Those are practically useless against guns. The next best option? Running. And that's what they did.

Robin heard the echo of boots against the tiled floor, hot in pursuit of them. He resisted the urge to angrily run a hand through his hair. This was not how this day was supposed to go. And in worst news, they were getting billed for a motel room they weren't even using.

"I hate nazis," Blake muttered as they ran. The HYDRA agents were closing in on the three, and their powers still were not working. It really could not get worst than this.

And that's where it all got worst.
