WITH THE WAY THEY REACTED, YOU would think the answer was yes. The two men weren't sure if the man Robin was talking about was the same one they knew, but they definitely knew someone of the sort. Steve glanced around, making sure no one was paying attention to the three of them, and dragged Robin to the elevator, with Sam following behind. The blonde hit a random button, and the elevator started heading down.

"Oh, no, am I getting kidnapped by you two again?" Robin asked sarcastically, as if he was going to fall asleep if they were.

Sam glared, as if saying "I-thought-we-would-never-speak-of-that."

Steve, on the other hand, hit the emergency stop button with almost enough force to break it, making Robin jump. It was like he was getting cornered in high school all over again, though he was pretty confident neither of them were homophobic.

"Tell me again what this guy looked like," Steve ordered.

Robin, eyes wide at how they reacted to his simple question, repeated his description. He told hem exactly what he noticed - mask, metal arm, red star, an abundance of weapons to have on your person.

Sam and Steve exchanged a look, having a silent conversation. It made Robin feel left out, really. They kept making some hand gestures and nodding their heads in his direction. Were they having a telepathic conversation about him? He certainly hoped not. He was right there. You don't talk about someone right in front of them, not in a negative way, right? Robin didn't know anymore, really.

While the two did that, Robin's phone vibrated. He picked it up, noticing Kiera - his friend whom he met at the bar he use to work at - was the one to call.

"Hey Kiki," He greeted, leaning against the elevator wall.

"Hey babe! What's up?" Kiera greeted.

"Oh, you know, just stuck in an elevator. Cornered by scary men, the usual."

"Scary, or hot? Asking for a friend."

"No, you're not. You're asking for yourself. Just scary."

Kiera scoffed. "Fine, keep them all to yourself. I'll go be straight somewhere else."

"Please do." At this point, both Sam and Steve were listening in. Robin did not seem to notice, and if he did, he did not care. "What's been happening with you?"

"Literally nothing. It's been so boring. Bring back those monsters from last year!" She paused. "You know what, don't. I think I'll stay bored. Better bored than dead, am I right?"

"If you want, I can tell you the next time I get attacked."

"You mean tomorrow? You get attacked every day by those stupid gross monsters from the stories. I think I'll pass."

"Whatever you say!" Robin sang, chuckling. "How's Glenn? I haven't heard from him in awhile."

"He and his girlfriend have a mission. He can't contact you, because you're with the Avengers and all."

"Oh. Alright Kiera, I have to go. Try not to kill anyone."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say. Bye Rob!" She hung up.

Robin turned to look back at the other two men, putting his hands on his hips. "Alright, are we done here?"

Robin, Sam and Steve were back on the safety of the floor they were on previously. Steve said they would revisit that conversation later, and left to talk to Natasha. Robin never actually got an answer on whether or not they knew who he was talking about, but he decided not to ask again. He did not want to be locked in a cramped elevator again. Ever.

The demigod leaned against Sam, not sure what to do now. There were aliens in the building, Steve was acting strange, Pietro was still running around the room in excitement, and Robin was just kind of there.

Clint approached the two, having finally gotten out of talking to Pietro. "Thank God that's over." He said as he reached them.

Robin chuckled. "Couldn't stand him talking about his future girlfriend?"

Clint shuddered at the thought. "Please, don't bring it up," He said, then got a idea. He smirked. "On that note, do you have a girlfriend?"

Sam was wondering the same thing. He turned to face the boy, causing him to fall. "Is it that Kiera girl?"

Robin stood back up, dusting himself off. "No, she is not my girlfriend. She just called to check up on me, as she does every other week since I got kidnapped," He explained. "No other girlfriend, either," He added before they could say anything else.

"How? Don't girls fawn over you?" Clint asked.

"Pretty sure I've seen it happen," Sam added on.

Robin shrugged. "I'm just not interested."

Clint hummed. "What about your mom? Does she know you're here? It has been awhile," He didn't seem to notice Sam's frantic hand gestures to get him to back off.

Robin looked down. "She's dead," He said coldly.

"Oh, shit, I'm sorry," The archer said awkwardly. There was a silence. All that was heard was the chatter of everyone else's conversations.

Robin shifted his weight, deciding to speak up again and pretend thinking of his mom was not hard for him. "Aliens, huh?" He said, the aura around them still awkward.

"They better not be like the aliens I fought back in New York," Clint said, thinking back to 2012, a year he didn't enjoy very much. Hypnosis was not fun.

"You fought aliens in New York? When was this?" Robin asked, still not knowing anything about the big battles the Avengers fought.

"2012. Seriously, it was all over the news. It's like you live under a rock."

"I'm pretty sure he did," Sam commented.

Robin shot them both an offended look. "I did not! I lived... somewhere with no TV!" He defended himself, while simultaneously trying to avoid mentioning anything about camp. While he was starting to trust the Avengers more, he would probably never tell them about the whole demigod thing. He could not risk it. Not only would it put them in danger, but they might turn on him for keeping this from them for as long as he did.

Before anyone could say anything else, a flash of blue zoomed past them.
