AFTER DAYS OF NO PROGRESS, HE finally located them on a planet. This planet was called Terra. Lescy felt like he hadn't slept for days with the amount of time he took to search for the thieves who stole the one thing he needed to complete his deal. Finally, he found them.
He scoffed. "Terra. What a useless planet." He said to his robot companion.
Unit 78ART let out a few beeps of agreement. To their knowledge, Terra wasn't advanced. They never made contact with people from other planets. No one really knew much about Terra. A mystery, that planet was.
They drove their ship in the direction of the planet. Meanwhile, on Terra, two cousins were on their way to an arcade. They were talking about how much they hate grapefruit, as they usually did. To get to their destination, they had to go through a forest. This turned out to be a terrible decision on their part.
Like alien fanatics on Reddit, the taller one of the two pointed to the sky, holding onto his cousin excitedly. He was almost jumping.
"What is it, Carlos?" The shorter girl demanded, looking at him with a confused look on her face.
"A UFO!" Carlos replied excitedly.
Katie looked up to the sky. She saw what her cousin saw - a blurred outline of a plane, she initially thought. When she squinted her eyes, she saw that it was in fact, not a plane, but a UFO. From what she could see, it was a round ship that was blue and white in colour. She leaned forward slightly, trying to get a better look.
"Is it... coming closer?" She asked nervously.
Beside her, the boy had pulled out his phone to video tape what he was seeing. He put it aside for a moment, looking at her curiously, then at the UFO. His eyes widened when he saw that it was, in fact, getting closer.
"We should go," He rushed out, taking her hand and pulling her along with him. The two ran in hopes to get out of the way. They hit multiple branches on their way, which only showed them down. That didn't stop them, however.
The ship was getting closer, fast. The pair couldn't run fast enough. In a moment, they were crushed by the large spacecraft. They didn't have time to so much as scream. The Fates had snipped their life strings. It was inevitable.
A man stepped out of the vessel. He dusted off his outfit and glanced around him, taking in the scenery. He didn't seem to notice the two bodies he had run over. His ship was unharmed, seeing as his robot companion had expert parking skills.
Lescy breathed in the polluted Terran air. "Finally," He said, a sinister smirk on his face. He would not only get his weapon back and complete his deal with the Kree, but now he had an entire planet at his disposal. He could do whatever he pleased with it and it's idiotic residents. They were completely at his mercy.
Four days. Four days went by since Robin's encounter with the goddess of love. That was four days of endless questioning, all of his friends wanting to know his relation with the woman. Four days of him wondering what Aphrodite really meant. She wouldn't tell him those things for nothing, would she? Was she just messing with his mind?
In those four days, Robin made sure to avoid Pietro without seeming suspicious. Tony and Bruce were working on trying to make the parts to repair the Guardians' ship, with Rocket's help. Gamora and Natasha were getting along, as were Groot and Thor. Drax was getting along good with, surprisingly, Vision, Mantis hanging out with them as well. Peter kept, quote unquote, supervising the work on the parts, but with the amount of time it was taking, Robin was sure he was just distracting them.
The demigod was tempted to call Leo. He would get the work done quickly. It might be a bit suspicious, but at this point Robin was ready to do anything to get these aliens back to space. He had enough personal problems to deal with.
Alas, he decided to wait a bit before calling him. For now, he would just try to get rid of the feelings he had.
He was hanging out in the kitchen with the Maximoff twins, talking about Zeus-knows-what. With everyone else mostly doing their own thing, they only had each other to entertain.
"Come on, Rapunzel! Just tell us who she is," Wanda begged, giving her friend her best puppy-dog eyes.
Robin shook his head. "Nope. Nada. νή. I'm not saying anything," He said, refusing to tell anyone anything. It was for him to know, and everyone else to not find out.
Wanda was about to try again when Pietro jumped up, smiling happily as he looked down at his phone.
Robin, jumping at the opportunity to change the subject, was quick to question him. "What happened?" He asked. "Did Hitler die again?" He tried to make a joke, but the other boy didn't pay it any mind.
"I have a date tomorrow!" He exclaimed happily.
Robin faltered, the familiar sinking feeling returning. He recovered before either twin could notice. "Well, in that case," He started, turning to Wanda. "Wanda, will you do the honour of having a picnic with me?" He asked, holding his hand out in a playful manner.
Before Pietro could complain about not approving of the two going out together, Wanda giggles and took his hand. "I'd be honoured," She agreed, knowing that her best friend knew she wasn't into him.
The demigod gave her a grin. "Perfect!" He turned back to Pietro. "I hope you enjoy your date, Malfoy."
"Whatever, Potter," The blonde replied, playing along with the new nickname. Then he gasped. "I have to go prepare myself! What do I wear?"
Robin gave him a bored look. "What do I look like, a costume designer?"
Wanda smiled apologetically at her brother in the other boy's behalf. "I'll help you," She assured him, and left to help him get ready, leaving Robin to plan a picnic.
