WHEN THOR AND STEPHAN AGREED TO ELECTROCUTE PEOPLE, Robin didn't expect it to only be the heroes. Their entire town was being enslaved right before their eyes. They weren't going to do anything about it? Some heroes they were. While the two men were off finding their friends, with Robin doing the same, Robin managed to bump into Pietro once more. Pietro then proceeded to beg him to help his girlfriend, lots of empty promises made. Robin couldn't say no, not with the look that was shot his way. He hated how he did it, too. He didn't care for this girl. And seeing her and Pietro kiss just broke him a little bit inside. Alas, he knew he was in too deep. He would do anything for the boy he liked.

Deciding to ignore the two lovebirds (barf), Robin went to find his other friends. He found Sam fairly quickly, and then Steve and Bucky. The four of them met up with Loki, who with him had Wanda and Bruce (the latter looking very nervous around the god, for some reason.)

"Any luck finding the others?" Steve asked, looking around.

"They would be here if I did," Loki sassed, an eyebrow raised in challenge.

Steve chose not to say anything back. A smart move, really. They did not need to start an argument. Especially not at this time.

"I'm sure Thunder Boy and Harry Potter will find them," Robin said, a little bit out of it. Everything was going to shit, again. He did not think he could handle another disaster, not after all that happened last time. Considering what Morpheus told him, this would not be his last problem either. People were after him, again. Why was he so special? He wished he knew the answer.

Despite his half-hearted reply, Robin was indeed right. Moment later, Thor and Stephan arrived with the rest of the Avengers. They looked around with confused looks, understandably so. With the entirety of New York looking like zombies, they had every right to be lost.

Natasha looked at Robin, eyes narrowed. "If the entire city is under some kind of mind control, why aren't you affected?" She asked. It seemed as time went on, her suspicions on the boy did not leave. Well, she was not wrong. He was hiding something, or rather, somethings.

Robin threw his arms up, feigning exasperation. "Like I keep saying, I wish I knew!" He could not tell them the truth, evidently. He did have an idea, a theory that was most likely right based on the phone call from Citrix. If he had to guess, he would say that his godly blood blocked the mind control.

"That's enough," Steve cut in. "We need to understand what's going on. We don't have time for any arguments."

Robin would have kissed him for saving him from potentially revealing his secret. He knew that sooner or later he would be back in an interrogation room, but he really could not bring himself to worry about that right now.

"What do you suggest we do, Rogers?" Tony demanded.

Steve looked up at the screen, where the alien was still ranting. Robin had honestly forgotten about that guy. "We go after him," Steve said ominously.

Robin blinked. "This isn't a super hero moment-" He would have continued ranting but the author decided to cut the scene here, leaving him unable to speak further.

Much to Robin (secret) relief, Pietro was forced to leave his girlfriend and accompany his team and acquaintances to Siberia, where this alien was, which they determined using context clues. Stephan opened a glowing portal, and Tony took it upon himself to shove forward two unwilling participants - Robin and Pietro. They had little to no plan, but it was pretty obvious that they would be bait. The portal closed, as the other heroes went another direction to sneak up on this tyrant.

Robin was dreading this. Not only was he forced to play prey to an alien, something he had not once encountered before, but he was stuck doing it with Pietro - the boy he may or may not like at the moment who has a girlfriend... Yeah, this was not the ideal situation. Unfortunately, he had to put aside his own concerns for the sake of humanity... again.

The alien was still standing up on his tower. He had, thankfully, stopped talking to all the people he had under his control, however. Robin spared a glance in his companion's direction. "No time like the present, right Bambi?"

Pietro shrugged, and cracked his neck. In one swift movement, he picked Robin up in his arms and used his super speed to get them all the way to the roof. When he let Robin go back on the floor, the pink-haired boy nearly vomited. That was not a sensation he enjoyed.

Shrugging off his nausea, Robin stood up straight once again. "Hey, asshole!" He shouted at the alien, who was staring off wistfully.

Lescy turned, his wistful expression turning sour upon seeing Robin and Pietro standing there. "Tch, more Terran's?" He muttered to himself. Then, he tilted his head. "You aren't under my control, how peculiar."

"Technical difficulties, not totally uncommon in mind control," Robin commented loosely. "Just ask my good friend-" Before he could finish, a shot of a stun gun was shot at him, hitting him in the chest and throwing him back before either he or Pietro could react. Not expecting that, Robin lurched backwards, falling off the roof of the building. Pietro cried out his name and rushed to the edge. That's when Robin flew up, arms crossed over his chest and head shaking in disappointment. "I had so much faith in you, pal," Robin said, landing back on the cool roof floor. He pat Pietro on the should as he did.

Lescy growled in annoyance. He went for a hand to hand combat attack, but Robin just used his powers to shock him. Then, the other heroes arrived.
