WEEKS HAD GONE BY SINCE Robin's meeting with his father. During that time, he had almost mastered most of his newfound abilities (although the force field thing felt impossible.) It was summertime now, and while Robin kept his thoughts off the Avengers, he always found himself thinking about Pietro whenever he wasn't doing anything productive. He hated that.

Robin took a breath, and entered the Big House. He had to do something. He was restless, and need to get his mind off his stupid crush.

"Ugh, not you again," Dionysus complained when the tan boy walked in.

Robin rolled his eyes. He was pretty sure Dionysus was not actually serious with his annoyance, but he could never be too sure. This was a god we're talking about. "Yeah, yeah," Robin huffed. "Save your breath. I'll be out of your hair soon. I'm just here to talk to Chiron."

"Ah, Robin!"

Speak of the devil.

"How can I help you?" Chiron inquired, smiling warmly at the boy.

"I just wanted to let you know I'll be leaving."

Chiron nodded in understanding. "Will you be finishing school?"

Robin gave a slight nod. "Yeah. I just wanted to thank you for helping me out, time and time again. So thanks."

"Of course. I'm happy to help."

Robin gave a two fingered salute as he bid the two immortals goodbye. He was not bringing any belongs with him, nothing that could trace back to him. He only had a stolen credit card with him that totally didn't belong to Tony Stark.

He decided not to be lazy and just teleport somewhere, he actually took the time to walk to a bus stop. He had to save his energy, after all. You never know what might happen. He did not want to risk getting kidnapped for the hundredth time. That would be super annoying.

He soon found a bus stop, with a bus scheduled to arrive any minute. He took one glance behind him, knowing that he might not return. The possibility of whatever he did resulting in his death was high. Always has been.

On the ride, he stayed near the back. He didn't know where he was going, and frankly, he did not care. He just needed to get supplies, then go to another state to avoid getting caught by Tony Stark who would likely track the spendings from the stolen card. Robin just hoped he would still be able to use it before the billionaire found out...

Time flew by, and Robin was able to get some essentials before moving on to the next state. He chose to settle in North Carolina, searching for an apartment. He had transferred himself money from Tony's card to his own to hide evidence. He was lucky Tony Stark had so many credit cards of his own that he did not see that one was missing, and since Robin had yet to use it, it was undetectable.

While he settled into his new apartment, the Avengers had almost given up on finding Robin. Why did they care so much anyway? He did have the right to go off on his own, and since he wasn't hanging out with Loki anymore... well, what was the harm? Besides, they had a new problem. HYDRA was causing trouble again.

If there was one thing Captain America knew about nazis, is that they did not easily give up. And HYDRA, so far, was living up to their moto. Every time they're defeated, they come back. It was getting annoying, honestly. Seriously, could they not just stay dead? Alas, you know how bigots are. They don't see reason.

Fury decided to send a handful of them to the HYDRA hideout SHIELD had recently discovered. This group consisted of Clint Barton, Sam Wilson, Steve Rogers and Pietro Maximoff. They left immediately, only having a few minutes to prepare for the mission. They headed straight to where the hideout was, a few states over.

"It's probably nothing," Fury had said, "but we need to be prepared for anything."

So, the four carefully set up camp in a nearby motel to scout out the area to see if there really was danger in the warehouse.

"This feels like a Brooklyn Nine-Nine scene," Sam muttered as he looked out the binoculars from the room.

"You watch that?" Clint questioned, reading through some known HYDRA associate files at the table.

Sam shrugged. "I used to watch it with Robin..." He trailed off at the thought of the pink haired boy. There was a brief tense silence. Pietro stopped bouncing a ball against the wall. No one said a word. You could hear a pin drop. "Oh, I see something," Sam said, breaking that silence.

"What is it?" Steve inquired. "Anything interesting?"

"A few people going in," Sam replied. "They're definitely being cautious."

Little did any of them know, one of the people there was the new leader of HYDRA. He was going inside, hand in hand with a familiar blonde no one really liked...

Even more surprising, they were in the same state that Robin was in, and soon they would be meeting soon...
