WITH A SHARED GLANCE, PIETRO AND Robin ran in that direction. They really had a habit of running into danger. That's what made them heroes.

When they entered the room, they were greeted by a not-so-pleasant surprise. Adalwolf was there, kissing an eerily family blonde... who happened to be Pietro's girlfriend, Arielle.

"What the hell?!" Pietro exclaimed, eyes wide with shock. Robin winced. It was clear Pietro was hurt by this (Robin did not blame him) and in all honesty, it made Robin mad. Not that he would admit it.

Arielle gave an obviously fake smile. "Sorry, babe," She mocked, "but you didn't really think I wanted to be with an Avenger, did you? With all the HYDRA has to offer?"

Robin scoffed. HYDRA, offering something good? Yeah, right. They were literal Nazis. Nice try. Arielle glared at him for the interruption.

"Don't think you're much better," She said to him. "Being a faggot, and all." She rolled her eyes, and clasped her hand in Adalwolf's.

Robin froze. Did she really just say that? Did she really just... out him? To Pietro? His crush? He could not open his mouth to form a response. He did not have to, because Adalwolf decided to start talking.

"You were so focused on Lescy that you did not realize we were behind it all!" He boasted. "You didn't really think that the alien got mind control tech all on his own, did you?"

"You bastards-!" Pietro started, lunging forward, only to get blasted back into the wall by a beam of what could only be sound, coming from the HYDRA leader's glove. Adalwolf did not stop there, either. He just had to talk about his quote unquote "success."

"I can't believe you children are so gullible. You didn't even realize it once you were in the building!" He said, pointing an accusing finger at Robin, a maniacal grin on his face. A grin that unsettled Robin almost as much as the outing part did. "To think, that if you weren't such a selfish coward, you might have been able to take us down."

"Don't call him that!" Pietro snapped, having pulled himself back to his feet during Adalwolf's speech.

Arielle scoffed. "Please, it's exactly how anyone would describe him. He's a selfish, cowardly fag! I'm just surprised you didn't know." She smiled, feigning innocence when in reality she was nothing but an evil snake. "I mean, aren't you best friends?"

"Shut up," Robin snapped lowly. His hands were in fists at his side, and it took all his self control not to attack the two nazis in front of him without second thought.

Arielle, of course, ignored that. "I knew being I even met you," She said to Pietro. "At a nice little coffee shop."

That's when the realization hit him. This was the same girl that slapped him for refusing to go out with her. Robin almost rolled his eyes. Seriously, why did she remember that? He had forgotten about it, for the most part. Of course, there was always the thought at the back of his mind, along with the other homophobic encounters he had, but he never thought about them. Not with everything else going on. Honestly, he should have known she worked for HYDRA.

Adalwolf smirked. "Isn't it funny?"

"No."

"-How we known more about the two of you than you know of each other?"

Robin scowled. He wanted to burn this place to the ground. He wanted both of them dead, along with the rest of their HYDRA associates. "Rot in Tartarus," Robin seethed.

Adalwolf clicked his tongue. "My, my, such threats! Almost has me shaking, wouldn't you say, kitten?"

Robin scrunched his nose up at the pet name. Not to mention how much he despised that they were unaffected by his words. That meant he would have to resort to using violence. He just did not want to bring down this warehouse. He accidentally burnt or otherwise brought down his fair share of buildings, he did not need to do that again.

Arielle smirked (well, tried to.) "So scary!" She mocked.

"That's it!" Robin snapped, lunging forward just as Pietro had done earlier. Electricity crackled in his hands, dancing across his fingers. Adalwolf was not quick enough to act this time, firing a shot from his glove a second too late. He was tackled to the floor.

Robin and Adalwolf fought each other, rolling around on the floor. Robin threw a punch, then another, and another, all electric. But Adalwolf did not give up easily. With his ungloved hand, he threw a punch back, then one with the glove, sending Robin a little ways back.

Robin slid back, managing to get on his feet being he could slam again the ground. Pietro's hand shot out to steady him, both boys glaring at the couple in front of them.

"You we're mind controlled during the alien's attack," Pietro pointed out, the pieces of this puzzle not adding up.

Arielle shrugged as she helped her actual boyfriend to his feet. "Sacrifices had to be made to ensure the success of the mission," She replied.

"And Lescy did not know friend from foe," Adalwolf added, dusting himself off.

"I'm going to fucking kill them," Robin murmured, his voice dripping with malice.

"I'll help you," Pietro muttered back, anger equally in his tone.

"Well, this does not look happy," Commented a voice from the doorway. Everyone in the room snapped their heads in that direction. It was none other than Hawkeye, everyone's favourite Avenger. He had his bow drawn, and as we all know, he doesn't miss.

"Ah, more company," Adalwolf mused out loud. "How nice."

Pietro and Robin wasted no time in throwing themselves at their foes, only for the couple to jump and tumble to the side, with Adalwolf quickly slamming his fist again a button. From the walls emerged a portal-like machine.

"Thank you for volunteering to be test subjects," Adalwolf said, just as a yellow particle portal fired up. Robin and Pietro fell victim to it, landing not on the floor of the warehouse, or on top of another body, but on a rocky surface.

Robin quickly turned back, still on the ground, but the portal was already closing. He could hear Clint cursing, and an explosion, before the portal was closed completely. He slumped back in defeat, resting on his arms.

"Shit."
