ROBIN HADN'T THOUGHT OF ALERTING ANYONE of the arrival of the Guardians. The Avengers might freak out or get ready to fight them a little, but they'll relax eventually. Maybe not completely, but they would help these guys out, at least.

The demigod led the aliens back to the tower, where Wanda and Pietro had recently returned as well. He thought he could sense someone watching him, but figured it was probably the aliens behind him.

The Guardians were constantly bickering with each other, but Robin tried his best to ignore them. He was starting to think that bickering was the key to a good group relationship. That's what it was looking like at this point.

They reached the floor where FRIDAY had said everyone was on, Robin fully ready to face whatever he had coming for him. The elevator doors opened with a soft ding. He walked in and made a beeline to Tony, who was staring at the new people in the building, wondering whether or not to attack.

He introduced them to each other - using their real names, for once - and explained to Tony what they needed.

Tony sent an obviously fake smile to the aliens and excused the two of them for a moment, before pulling Robin into a corner.

"Are those aliens?" The billionaire demanded in a hushed whisper, his hands tightly gripping the boy's shoulders.

"No, they're here for ComicCon," The demigod replied sarcastically, his voice equally as quiet. "Yes they're aliens!"

"Why are there aliens in my Tower?"

Robin sighed. He seemed to be doing that a lot. "I don't want them here either, but their spaceship is broken and I need you to get some parts to fix it. Then they'll be gone," He explained.

Tony narrowed his eyes. "Fine." He released the boy from his grasp. He then pushed him towards the Maximoff twins. "Go hang out with your friends, Banner and I will help those guys out." He gestured towards the Guardians.

"Okay, okay," Robin said, putting his hand up and making his way toward his friends while Tony went to grab Bruce.

Before Robin could take more than two steps, Pietro was zooming around the room, which he had found himself doing often. Wanda seemed annoyed, standing where she had been this entire time.

Robin walked over, putting an arm around her shoulders. "What's up, Cosmo?"

Wanda didn't even glance at him. "Pietro met a girl at the store," She explained, then quickly realized how rude that sounded. "Not that I'm not happy for him! But he didn't have to go flirt with her, leaving me to do all the shopping while he had the shopping list." She shook her head. "And now, he won't stop talking about her and waving the receipt with her number on it around."

Robin felt a pain in his chest when he heard this, but he brushed it aside. "Did you get Thor's poptarts, at least?" He asked jokingly.

"That was the only thing I could remember," She replied, chuckling quietly. She glanced over to the stranger group he had brought into the building. "You're hanging out with aliens now?"

Robin scoffed, taking his arm off of his friend's shoulders and instead putting his hand on his hip. "Gods, I hope that won't become a regular thing." He glanced over at them. "That's the last time I'm listening to Boy Scout," He said.

They both laughed before Pietro came speeding over, as if only now noticing Robin's arrival. Instead of greeting him, like a normal person would, he jumped into a long rant about some girl name Arielle, whom he just met.

Robin noticed hat he kept repeating himself, noting that his friend didn't know much about this girl. Despite that fact, he couldn't help the tightness in his chest. He knew Pietro had to be straight - or at least not into Robin, of all people - but he couldn't help but dream. Now, however, he knew that what he had been telling himself for the past few months was indeed true. It hurt.

Deciding to save himself the pain, he tapped the boy on the shoulder. "Hey, you know who would love to hear all about this?"

"Who?" Pietro questioned, stopped his rambling to know who would want to hear him talk some more. Although he wanted to have a conversation with Robin, whom he felt he had not seen in a long time, he also wanted to get his feelings out.

"Clint," Robin said with a smirk.

Pietro's face brightened. "Really? Great!" Without so much as a goodbye, he ran over to Clint in a blur of blue.

Wanda breathed out a sigh of relief. "Oh, thank God. I don't know how much longer I could've stranded hearing about how blonde her hair was," She said, smiling at her friend.

Robin laughed. "Yeah, me neither," He said, not admitting the real reason.

The pair talked some more, and laughed at how bored and annoyed Clint looked at the conversation he was stuck in. Robin, while looking around the room, noticed Vision continuously glancing in their direction. Or rather, at Wanda.

He nudged her. "I think someone wants to talk to you," He said, nodding in Vision's direction.

Wanda glanced over a blushed when she met his glance. "Oh, I don't know-" Before she could continue denying what was obviously there, Robin threw his hand in the hair and waved.

"Hey, Windows 10! Come over here!" He called to Vision, who got the hint and came over.

Wanda started slapping the demigod's arm, trying not to let her red face be seen.

"Ow! Stop it, I'm helping you," Robin exclaimed, but his friend just glared. He smirked. "I'm leaving, good luck," He said, winked, then left the two alone.

He went to see Sam, who was talking to Steve. He smiled at them. "Hey Sammy, Steeb!" He greeted. "What's going on?"

Sam shrugged. "Just talking about this great new route to go running-" He started, knowing Robin hated running, for no reason no less.

Robin plugged his eyes. "La, la, la, la, I can't hear you," He sang. Sam laughed at his behaviour.

"We were really talking about how great it is not to need to fight dirt monsters every other day," Steve said.

Robin groaned. "Ugh, if I see one ever again, I'm punching Tony in the face," He said, crossing his arms.

Sam gave him a look. "You've done that so many times since we beat Asteroid. It's like you go looking for trouble," He said.

Robin gasped, feigning offence. "I do not! Trouble comes looking for me!" It was true - monsters made it their goal to hunt him down and kill him. Whenever anyone asked, Robin simply said he got into a fight, but with all the times it had happened, that excuse was getting unbelievable. "Speaking of Asteroid, do you guys know a guy with a metal arm with some red star on it? Wears a mask? He's the one who actually killed Asteroid, and I've been wondering who he was." As he rambled on, Robin didn't seem to notice the two men freeze up.

"Did you say a guy with a metal arm?" Steve questioned.

"Yeah, weren't you listening?"

The two older men exchanged an almost dark look.
