S1 Chapter 2: Titan Shifter

Y/N was walking through the streets of Trost. Y/N only had an hour left before he'll return to the Headquarters for an upcoming expedition that will be starting today. He bumped in to Lilith earlier and was walking through the streets while eating some snacks.

"Hey, Y/N, does it feel like it's a date?" Lilith laughed lightly

"No." Y/N said

"Come on, don't be like that!" Lilith laughed

Suddenly, they bumped into three familiar faces.

"O-Onii-san?" Mikasa said with a shocked face

"Y/N-san?" Eren and Armin looked surprised

"Oh, it's you three." Y/N said

"Y-You got a girlfriend?!" The three asked

"Huh? No. She's just a friend." Y/N said

"A... friend... huh...?" Lilith said with a low voice and gloomy aura around her

"Oh..." The three said

"I can already see the similarities between Eren and Y/N-san..." Armin sweatdropped

"Heh. You three sure have grown a lot." Y/N said

"We could say the same to you, Y/N-san." Eren said

"Yeah!" Armin said

"Mm. What's with the growth spurt, Onii-san?" Mikasa asked

"Ah... Hahaha..." Y/N laughed while scratching the back of his head

"Y/N-san, may be tall, but I heard he's one of the fastest in the Scouts and his strength is second underneath Levi-heichou!" Eren shouted with an amazed face

"E-Eren! Don't be so loud and it's not really that praiseworthy... I'm just doing my job." Y/N said with a blush

"Really? I think it's praiseworthy." Lilith smiled at Y/N

"Huh?" Y/N looked confused

"No one except Levi-heichou has more kills than you. Which means, by every Titan you kill, you save a life." Lilith said

"Ah... Yeah... Maybe..." Y/N said

"We've got to get going now. We're going on an expedition later. Maybe you'll get to see us go outside." Y/N said

"Oh, right." Lilith laughed

"Then on your next expedition, we'll be a part of it!" Eren said

"Heh. I'm counting on ya." Y/N said

Y/N and Lilith walked away while he waves back at the three.

Y/N was riding his horse towards the gate of Trost behind Levi and other soldiers and he saw people cheering for them.

"They're here! The main force of the Survey Corps!"

"Commander Erwin! Kick their Titan asses for me!"

"Look! There's Captain Levi! They say he alone counts for a full unit!"

"Can they shut up?" Levi was obviously annoyed by the people's comments and Y/N was just laughing lightly

"Look! There's Y/N Ackerman! They said he's as strong as Captain Levi!"

"Ah... hehe..." Y/N scratched his cheek

"I heard he's one of the youngest soldiers in the Survey Corps!"

"They're all looking up to you. Even those children." Lilith let out a small laugh at Y/N

"Yeah. That's why I don't want the same tragedy from five years ago to happen again." Y/N smiled

"Of course it won't." Lilith smiled back

"I hope so." Y/N said

The scouts continued until they reached the gates.

As the gates start to open, the four eyed Titan freak, Hange started talking out loud, optimistically.

"The Titans are out there! I wonder what kind of Titans we'll see this time! I'd really live to see abnormal ones!" Hange said clasping her hands together

"Here she goes again." Y/N and Lilith said with deadpanned faces

"Move out!" Erwin shouted and they started moving out the gate.

Y/N was walking through a roof and he saw two Titans walking around aimlessly and they noticed him.

"Great." Y/N said

The two Titans started walking towards Y/N while Y/N does the same.

Y/N takes out his blades and he jumps off the roof. He shoots his ODM Gear hooks at the Titan's eyes, blinding it. The Titan started screaming while Y/N detaches his hooks from the Titan's eyes. Y/N shoots his hook on the forehead of the Titan and he swung to it. He did a curve to evade the head of the Titan before detaching the hook on the forehead. Y/N stabs both of his hooks on the nape of the Titan and he flew to it before swinging his blade, killing the Titan. Before Y/N could kill the other Titan, Lilith arrived and killed the Titan.

"Oh, you're still alive. That's great." Y/N said

"What a rude way to say hello to someone while outside the wall." Lilith pouted

"Sorry." Y/N apologized

"Y/N! Lilith!" Levi suddenly arrived with Levi Squad and some other scouts.

"What?" Y/N looked at them

"We're going back." Erwin said

"Huh? Already?" Y/N asked

"It's like five years ago. The Titans started heading north." Erwin said

Y/N and Lilith's eyes suddenly widen

"You don't mean-?!" Y/N asked

"They might have broken through the wall. Again." Erwin said

Y/N arrived in Trost District and it was already dusk. He heard about a Titan Shifting person on the frontlines so he headed there as fast as he can.

He noticed a Titan sitting infront of the walls and three familiar people on the ground, but there two Titans approaching them.

"Mikasa? Eren and Armin?" Y/N was surprised

Levi suddenly zipped past Y/N and killed the two Titans.

The two Titans fell to the ground and Levi stood on top of their dead bodies.

"Hey, you brats. What's going on here?" Levi asked looking at Eren's Titan carcass

Y/N landed infront of the three and checked them.

"Are you three alright?!" Y/N asked worriedly

"Yeah..." Eren asked tiredly while Mikasa and Armin answered the same, but without the fatigue in their voice

"That's a relief... but... what the hell is this?" Y/N asked looking at Eren's Titan carcass
