S1 Chapter 1: Where Everything Started

In the Scouts Headquarters in Wall Rose...

A short man, and a boy taller than him was talking on their way to the commander, Keith Shadis.

"Wall Maria has been breached!" Someone shouted

The boy looked behind and saw a woman with glasses.

"What'd you say, Hange-san?" The boy asked

"Wall Maria has been breached! A huge Titan appeared and kicked the gate of Shiganshina District. Titans have entered through the hole. The citizens from Wall Maria have evacuated to Wall Rose." The woman with glassess named 'Hange' said

"Hey, are you sure this is real?" The short man asked

"Levi, there's no solid proof yet, but a soldier came to the headquarters panicked. So we will assume that it is real." Hange said

"Shiganshina...? My sister... My sister lives there with Eren..." The boy's eyes were open wide

"Hange-san! Are you sure this isn't some kind of joke?!" The boy asked while grabbing Hange's shoulders with a scared look on his face

"We just confirmed the breach in Wall Maria." Someone said

They looked behind Levi and saw their Commander, Keith Shadis along with Erwin Smith.

"Then..." The boy fell to the floor kneeling

"Where'd they bring them... the evacuees from Wall Maria?" The boy asked

"We can go there. I'm on my way to check someone there." Keith said

"Yes, commander." The boy stood up

"I'm not the Commander anymore. I just resigned." Keith said

"Huh?" Levi, Hange and the boy were confused

"Erwin is now the Commander, Y/N. The 13th Commander of the Survey Corps." Keith said and he walked away

"Hey, brat. What're you waiting for? I thought you were going to see someone?" Levi said

Y/N stood up and followed Keith.

"I'm sure Mikasa and the others are okay..." Y/N thought

He remembers seeing her with Eren earlier when they arrived back in Shiganshina from an expedition

"Please be..." Y/N thought

Keith and Y/N rode on separate horses and they started heading to the evacuation center in Wall Rose.

They both arrived and they also bumped into Grisha who was looking for his family and they started looking for the ones they need to look for. Y/N saw Mikasa sleeping with Eren.

"There." Y/N pointed

Y/N and the two walked towards Mikasa and Eren.

Y/N kneels beside Mikasa and puts a hand on her shoulder. He started waking her up gently. Grisha woke Eren up first before Mikasa could wake up. Grisha brought Eren and Keith outside, leaving Y/N and Mikasa.

"Mikasa." Y/N tried waking her up

Mikasa finally woke up and rubbed her eyes. She got a clear look of Y/N's face and immediately hugged him.

"Onii-san!" Mikasa said

"Yes, I'm here." Y/N said hugging her back

"Where's Ereh?" Mikasa asked

"Grisha-san went somewhere with him. He'll be back." Y/N said

"I see..." Mikasa said

"Go back to sleep, Mikasa. I'll visit the three of you everyday or whenever I can take a break from the Survey Corps." Y/N said patting Mikasa's head
