S2 Chapter 11: Titans inside the Walls

Most of Season 2 will focus on Lilith because you know what's about to happen. It is what it is.

12 hours earlier...

Bertholdt and Reiner were playing a game of chess, and Connie and Sasha were staring at the window, clearly bored.

"Y'know, my village is just little ways south from here." Connie said

"My hometown's nearby too." Sasha said

"Man, why can't we go home?" Connie asked

"Wanna sneak out tonight?" Connie asked

"My folks told me not to come back until I became a respectable person." Sasha said

"Mine said a shorty like me would never make it as a soldier, but it turns out I'm a prodigy. I graduated in top ten of the class. I'm gonna go back there and rub it in their faces." Connie said

"Connie, if you really are serious, I'll help you." Reiner said

"Huh? Why?" Connie asked

"Doesn't this situation seem strange to you? Why are we on standby in our casual clothes? We have no uniforms and we're not allowed to train." Reiner said walking to a window

"And I'm even more suspicious about how our all our superiors are fully equipped. We're inside the walls, not out on the frontlines. What fight are they preparing for?" Reiner asked

"Well, bears sometimes show up around here." Connie said

"Yeah, probably bears." Sasha said

"A rifle is enough to kill a bear." Reiner said

Sasha laid her head on the table, but it only lasted for a moment before she stood up.

"I can hear something rumbling! It sounds like footsteps!" Sasha said

"What are you talking about, Sasha? If you're saying Titans are near here... then that means Wall Rose has been breached." Reiner asked

"I'm telling the truth! I really did hear footsteps!" Sasha said

Suddenly, Lilith appeared on the window and opened it cutting their conversation.

"Everyone present?" Lilith asked

"Lilith-san..." Christa stood up

"Multiple Titans are approaching from 500 Meters from the south. They're heading towards here." Lilith said shocking them

"There's no time for you to get equipped. Get yourselves on horseback immediately alert the nearby civilians and villages, and evacuate the area. Got it?" Nanaba asked

"From the south..." Connie muttered

"Does this mean the wall's been destroyed?" Reiner asked

"Get moving! Sorry, but lunch is on hold until this job's done." Nanaba said

The scouts and new scouts rode their horses and left the place.

"When the Titans get close to the forest, everyone scatter at once! We'll form four groups, starting now! They'll be composed of the 104th's members, plus armed soldiers one for each compass direction! Avoid combat if at all possible and prioritize spreading information!" Mike said

"Is anyone here familiar with the land?" Lilith asked

"Y-Yes, sir!" Sasha raised her hand

"My hometown is in a forest to the north. I know the terrain there! And Connie does to!" Sasha said
