S4P2 Chapter 43: Wings of Freedom

It was nighttime and they finally arrived to Odiha. The city was quiet and there were no ships, meaning that people have fled already.

They brought the flying boat to the hangar and they were going to remove the cover of the flying boat, but there were explosives tied on it.

"Hurry up!" Jean shouted

"All these stupid explosives are in the way!" Connie shouted

"Let's just cut 'em off." Reiner said

"Wait. We might be able to use them for something. Let's pack them on the flying boat." Armin said

"Oh... you want to use them on Eren?." Reiner asked

"I'm not sure..." Armin said

Y/N boarded the ship again to get something and he saw Levi walking on the hallway while holding guardrails to assist himself.

"Hey! You're being reckless, old man! You need to rest!" Y/N said

"You still want me to sleep in bed? You're going to forget I even exist if I rest any longer. Anyway, that damned beard lady laid out with a fever from her broken bones seems to be conscious again." Levi said

"Yeah. We're interrogating her to where Eren's heading." Y/N said

"I'll join too. I don't have anything else to do." Pieck appeared

Y/N helps Levi get to Yelena's room where the others were in.

"If anything at all bothers me, it'd have to be the fortress on the mountains of Southern Marley. The flying boat research base there does concern me a bit. That will likely be Eren's second target for attack." Yelena said

"Fort Salta..." Lilith said

"Right. If he knows about the existence of a weapon that has a chance, however small, of succesfully attacking the Founding Titan." Pieck said

"It's where he'll go after Port Acirfa to destroy the flying boats." Yelena said

"You're awfully willing to provide answers." Levi said

"I have a favor to ask in return. Admit it. Zeke was defeated, but he was right. His Euthanization Plan waa thw only way to solve the two thousand year old Eldian problem. Isn't that obvious from the wrteched state of things now?" Yelena asked

"Sure. I'll admit it that Eren had no solutions. No hope and no future for us. And that I'm powerless." Hange said

Y/N was carrying a barrel of fuel for the flying boat without any effort while Reiner, Jean and Connie looked at him in shock.

"Mikasa and Captain Levi must be this strong too..." Jean, Reiner and Connie said at the same time

"This is all the fuel on the boat." Y/N said

"Just leave it there." An Azumabito mechanic said

"Let's go, you three. We need to get ready." Y/N said and he walked away

The three followed Y/N and equipped their maneuvering gears.

It was now morning and they finished repairing the flying boat.

"Hange! We'll be preparing for take off in an hour!" Onyankopon called them

"Got it!" Hange said

"You heard them. Everyone, start inspecting your equipment." Hange said

"Roger that." They replied

They worriedly looked at Levi who was holding his maneuvering device while his hand shakes.
