S3P2 Chapter 26: The Truth of the Outside World, I

Y/N was sitting on top of the Wall with bandages on his nose.

"Bertholdt..." Y/N heard Armin's voice

"It hurts... It hurts so bad..." Y/N aslo heard Connie's voice

Y/N looked behind him and saw that Armin woke up already.

"You're finally awake." Y/N said

"Y/N-san... Connie..." Armin said

"You're both in terrible shape! What happened to the both of you?" Armin asked

"I could say the same thing to you before that." Y/N said

"H-Huh? What do you mean...?" Armin asked

"Armin!" Y/N and Armin looked at Eren who was running over to them

"Eren..." Armin said and Eren immediately hugs Armin

"I'm glad you're back!" Eren said

"Huh?" Armin was confused

Levi suddenly landed on top of the Wall.

"You're up?" Levi asked

"Captain! What in the world happened here? I remember Bertholdt turning into a Titan and... what about the others?! Are they okay?!" Armin asked

"That's as far back as you remember?" Levi asked

"Huh?" Armin looked at Levi confused

"Eren, tell him everything." Levi said and he fired a green smoke signal

Mikasa and the others arrived and Eren explained to Armin what happened.

"Well? Up to speed, Armin?" Levi asked

"Are you telling me... the Scout Regiment... is the ten of us here and that's it?" Armin asked

"For the time being. The fight ended four hours ago. We've been on the lookout for survivors, but none yet." Jean said

"S-So, we managed to seal the Walls of Shiganshina... but Reiner, the Beast Titan escaped and one other escaped... Bertholdt was captured... Then there was a dispute... about using the injection on Commander Erwin or me... and I turned into a Titan and ate B-Bertholdt..." Armin was about to puke, but he stopped it and Y/N handed him a leather container of water which Armin accepts and drinks

"Why... did you pick me? No matter how you look at it, wasn't Commander Erwin the right one to bring back? Y/N-san! Why did you give me the injection?!" Armin asked

"It wasn't me who gave it to you. It was Captain Levi." Y/N said

"Captain, why did you bring me back not Commander Erwin?" Armin asked

"Tch!" Levi let out a sound of annoyance and he kicked Eren's back

"I told you to tell him everything. The thing is, it seems your two friends didn't think that way. They stood up to me, prepared to draw blood." Levi said

"Huh?" Armin looked at Eren and Mikasa

"We'll take whatever punishment comes." Eren said

"You'll be disciplined for insubordination, does taking the punishment allow you to do anything?" Hange asked

"No..." Eren said

"However, the final decision to choose you was mine. No, I chose this to be the place where Erwin dies." Levi said

Armin was shocked and confused.

"I don't understand... There's no way it's okay to let Commander Erwin die... If the Commander is gone, how... how will we go on?" Armin asked
