I never once gave up.

That's what I always think whenever there's something that is challenging me and I find it hard to overcome it. I have a very long patience. I don't get easily mad I don't lose my cool, which is actually a disadvantage to me, if I may say. I don't think I've ever been mad at someone... ever.

My mother taught me that having patience will not just benefit you, but others, too. You would be able to control your feelings and most importantly, you will never lose composure. There are times when my friends would also ask me-after teasing me for so many times in a day-how could I ever be so chill at anything? I was composed most of the time and I don't even snap at them when they're being too loud when I study with them. I would simply shrug at that.

I never met my father. From my mother's words-he was a complicated person. I never knew the whole story but in my point of view, he's an asshole for leaving my mother pregnant with me. I never held a grudge on him, simply because I was contented with my life. Wherever he is, I hope he's doing okay, because both my mom and I are fine from where we are right now.

When I got into highschool, that's how I met my friends; Nobara, Yuji and Megumi. We treat each other like family, and I never thought I would have friends like them.

Unexpected things happened when I stepped in college, and one of it was meeting Satoru Gojo. The playboy, laid back but smart guy third-year in our school who I don't know that much.

I don't hate him. Nobara does, though. She thinks he's too cocky and is a manwhore. We all agreed to that because we all heard rumors about him. It was like highschool all over again.

It was a normal day in college, you casually chatting with your friends. Despite being quiet and sat with them, a smirking man managed to walk towards your table and introduce himself to you that day. You don't know why he did that though, and from where you were, you just knew it was a dare. It was too obvious. He didn't even know you, and judging from his types... you were just too far from that.

Same goes to you, you don't see him often, just hearing some things about him.

It was safe to assume it was a game, seeing that his friends were shamelessly watching their friend make his way to their prey. You knew better so you played along. He was confidently smiling at you, his bright blue eyes staring right into yours. "Satoru Gojo. May I know yours?" his voice was soothing and sultry that it made you feel like he was flirting with you, even though you have a feeling he's not.

"Y/N L/N." you simply said, not smiling back at him. You can see the three of your friends staring at him shockingly. Yuji was staring at the both of you with his jaw almost slacking, Megumi raising his eyebrows, and Nobara giving Gojo a death glare. You almost scoffed at that. Your thoughts were cut off when he raised an eyebrow at you and leaned closer on the table, ignoring your friends' and everyone else's stares. "Want to hang out?" he smirked, trying to show off his charms.

It was too cringe.

You inhaled deeply because you were the one getting embarrassed by him. The school cafe's attention were on you and you hate that. It was uncomfortable and the guy in front of you was making moves that made you feel uncomfortable and awkward. You bit your lip, "Yeah... no, thanks." you whispered, making his relaxed eyebrow shot up again.

He played with his lower lip while giving you a look. He was obviously caught off guard but he was good at hiding it. He remained cool, which caused you to blink at him, waiting for his response.

"Sure. Later, babes." he winked at you and walked off like it was nothing.

It didn't end there, though. You were walking home that day when you heard a car horning repeatedly, yet you didn't glance at the sound. You were getting irritated because it was making your head hurt, so you quickly glanced to your side and saw the white haired bastard with his shades on. His hand was on the steering wheel while the other hand was resting on the car window. He was wearing his usual smirk.

"Want a ride, shawty?" you furrowed my eyebrows when you heard the nickname he gave you. The words he said will sound trying hard for some guys, but for him it was effortless, like he was so used to using his charms on women. Not on you, though.

"Hello?" he asked again but you paid no attention. "Huh. You're pretty good at this." you know how loud this man was, but you didn't know he was nosy as well. You deeply sighed.

You stopped walking and he stopped driving, too. Why is he so persistent? Did he think every girl in school would give in to him?

"No, thanks." you said with no emotion and continued walking. He kept driving slowly to match your pace but not once did you look at him. The music on his car blasted while you walked the sideway. You didn't mind him, you just pretended that you didn't know he was still there.

You were surprised when he stopped his car when you finally reached your house. You didn't look back at him when you opened your front door and closed it behind you. You heard his car sped off and that's when you released a sigh. He's a handful. He should be done messing with you now, and tomorrow will be a normal day for you again.
