Everything was blank. Your head felt like it was splitting open as you rose up from the bed. You read that it was already past 9, so you decided to just close your eyes for a bit, trying to get rid of the headache.
A few minutes later, your stomach churned so you hurried towards the bathroom, eager to empty your bad stomach. How much did I even fucking drink last night?
When you got to finally sober up a little, you looked around for a water and saw a bottled water on the table. You gulped it down and almost emptied it. Releasing out a sigh, you sat on the bed for the mean time.
That's when you realize you're not in your room.
You panicked, immediately looking down and realizing you're still clothed. Maybe you went inside someone's room while you were drunk thinking it was yours. Damn. You swore never to get drunk again.
As you were stressing out, the events from last night flooded your thoughts instantly. You sat there bewildered by your actions, more so, with Gojo's.
You grabbed your phone, seeing some texts from Nobara, Shoko... but none from Gojo.
Your shoulders fell and stared blankly in the air. You felt like your heart dropped. The phone you're holding was left opened as you process things.
Everyone was right all along. How can you be so stupid? So that was it? Everything was nothing to him? He didn't even check on you to see if you were okay. It was like you were nothing to him.
It made you gulp down the tears that were threatening to fall down. You bit your bottom lip, and composed yourself to storm out of the room. You tried to remember where your room was, squinting at the unfamiliar hallway.
You didn't care whose room was that and closed it. Gripping your phone in your hand tightly and still in your clothes yesterday, you try to find your shared room with Nobara and Shoko.
Eventually you found it, sighing in relief and quickly knocked. You mentally cursed at yourself for not bringing the extra key with you. You prayed someone was inside, looking sideways at the quite hallway, seeing nobody there.
The door opened, revealing a sleepy Shoko blinking, but raised an eyebrow when she saw you. Her eyes went to your clothes then back to your face and opened the door wider.
"Where were you?" she asked curiously just as you walked pass her. You went to your bed and plumped your face down on it. A few seconds later, you answered on your pillow. "I don't even know."
You heard her yawn, opening the bathroom. "Go change, we're going to the beach right now to sober you up." then shut the door.
You didn't want to, but you have to. Yuji's celebration is extended until today. You wanted to have fun, so you weren't planning on telling anyone what happened. This day isn't about you. It's about Yuji.
The sleeveless turtle neck felt tight on your neck so you changed into a bikini top and beach wide pants. You wore your white sandals then checked yourself on the mirror. You didn't feel like putting on makeup so you left your face bare.
Shoko was already good to go by the time you were finished, so you both walked outside with her arm looped on yours.
You were nervous, of course. You didn't want to see Gojo, and you know for sure he'll show up. You just have to ignore him and stay away... it's for the best. He wouldn't care anyway.
You can see the little crowd from afar under the big umbrella. It looks like almost everyone was there, so you didn't keep your eyes on them for too long. You walked beside Shoko, who was quiet, and you were thankful she didn't push you further for details.
