Monday came so fast. You were too preoccupied with helping your mom cook and bake the whole Sunday. That's how you usually spend your time together.
You never thought about longing for a sibling. You understood that your mother wasn't really ready to have a kid when she had you. She admitted that to you and expected for you to complain why you were an only child... but you didn't. Your father was just an asshat for leaving your mom pregnant, afraid of the responsibilities awaiting for him. It wasn't really her fault.
When all of you went home with Gojo driving, it was a long quiet drive. It wasn't that comfortable but it was enough than Megumi asking questions even though you know he probably won't ever ask with Gojo around. You know Megumi is staring at the rear view mirror from time to time. You rode shot gun, with Nobara, Yuji, and Megumi at the back. The two were snoring, clearly knocked out from drinking.
Once they were all successfully sent to their homes, you were now alone with Gojo, who was humming a tune while tapping his fingers on the steering wheel. You pointed the directions of your house and he nodded at that.
He stopped and looked at your house. You remembered him following you that day he introduced himself to you. "You followed me here before..." he turned to you, giving you a questioning glance.
"Why?" you simply asked. You weren't really planning to ask him that but it just suddenly came out of your mouth.
He was quiet for a few seconds. "I didn't want you getting lost on your way home." he sarcastically says, refusing to answer your question truthfully. You rolled your eyes slightly, making him laugh.
You went out of his car and shut it close. The windows were already rolled down when you looked back at him, "Thank you." you sincerely said and gave him a soft smile. You were really thankful. He wasn't that bad. He may be cocky but he was actually a decent person. You weren't just sure about him handling women.
You saw him flex his jaw before nodding at you, the smile fading away. "No biggie. Until next time." with that, he drove away.
Opening the door to your room, you gripped your bag on your shoulder and was welcomed by the stares of your classmates. You ignored them and went straight to your seat, where all of your friends were. Megumi was already looking at you as you sat beside him.
"Y/N!" Nobara shrieked, making everyone's attention draw to you. You almost shrunk in your seat, giving her a look. She didn't mind and rushed beside you to shake your shoulders. "Noba-"
She suddenly hugged your neck which made you freeze. "I'm sorry! I don't know what happened but I feel like I should be apologizing for being so drunk and unable to stand properly that night!"
You awkwardly patted her back while she rambled on. Yuuji was holding his laughter, with Megumi looking amused beside him. "It's fine, Nobara... you don't have to apologize."
She pulled back and surveyed your face. She sighed when she saw how nonchalant you were with it. "I just feel guilty for some reason." she muttered. You gave her a tight smile, remembering what happened at the party. You didn't want to worry her more so you kept it to yourself. Besides, you were okay now. Just a little uncomfortable when thinking about it.
"Why were you with Gojo that night, Y/N?"
You all glanced at Megumi, who looked serious while asking that question. Yuuji stifled a laugh, "You sound like a possessive boyfriend, Megumiiii." he dragged out, making you and Nobara chuckle.
Megumi shook his head, closing his eyes. "I'm just curious." he glanced away from all of you. That made Yuuji laugh harder, earning a glare from the black-haired man. Nobara turned to you and raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah... I thought you didn't like him?"
You returned the look she gave you and released a sigh. You never recalled saying that you didn't like Gojo. "I just joined a game with him, that's all." you shrugged, like it was not a big deal.
They all looked curious but you pointed at Yuji, averting all the attention on him. "How about you? How'd you get drunk?" he widened his eyes and chuckled nervously. "I... uh... well..."
He started explaining that he decided to talk to a guy in our school and eventually it led to him joining beer pong. He was so drunk he even recalled him dancing crazily with girls.
You were all laughing when he said he was even dared to kiss a guy and he puked all over the floor. Luckily, Megumi found him when he was all cleaned up by a guy. He said he owed that guy by taking care of him when he was messed up.
Megumi, however, didn't drink. You expected that, since Megumi didn't want to go to the party in the first place. He would want to drink if he wasn't forced by anyone. He knows how to have fun whenever he wants to.
Class ended in a blink of an eye. You were the last one to get out of the room, when you noticed your friends talking to someone outside. As you neared them, you heard Nobara ask, "Why do you want to talk to her?" your forehead creased and when you came in view, all eyes were on you.
You saw Gojo leaning on the wall with his arms crossed over his chest. A smug smile plastered on his face when his eyes drifted to you. He was wearing an eyeglass today, his hair was all over the place but it was presentable enough to go with it for a day. He wore a long sleeved white shirt and black pants. You noticed he liked wearing clothes that cover up his entire body.
After you're done observing him overall, he caught your eyes and smirked. "I'm here to talk to her for a bit, if you all don't mind." he coyly said. You heard Megumi scoff, with Nobara rolling her eyes. You were caught off guard when Yuji high-fived Gojo. You blinked at them.
"I have to say, Itadori is indeed fun to party with." Yuji chuckled at that, holding Gojo's shoulder for support. Wow, they got along so fast. "Will definitely try to get invited again next time." Yuji says, smiling at the white-haired man. Gojo nodded, "Oooh, definitely." grinning at your friend.
"Well... text us when you're done, Y/N." Nobara said to you, and you nodded at that. You smiled at them reassuringly.
You turned to Gojo who was towering you. You wondered what his height is, because you looked small beside him. You were always craning your neck to see him, which annoys you, to be honest. [changed it! sorry, i needed gojo to be taller than y/n]
He seems to notice that and crouched a little, still leaning on the wall. "What do you want?" his mouth formed an 'o', "You seem like you didn't like to see me here." he feigned hurt at what you said but a small smirk was evident on his lips. This guy is really something.
"Your friends really don't trust me enough to be alone with you, huh?" he inserted his hands inside his pockets, crossing his legs this time. You snickered, "You can't blame them." there was obviously a hidden meaning to that, so he raised an eyebrow at you, his lips pouting.
He didn't say anything, instead, he glanced outside. "I wanted to make it up to you."
Your eyes slightly widened in shock and in confusion. "What? Why?"
He finally looked at you, his crystal blue eyes gazing at you behind the eyeglasses he wore. He rubbed the back of his head and sigh. It seemed like he was thinking about something, as his eyes went down to the floor. "It happened at my party. Just let me make it up to you."
You were confused as to why he acted like this. Sure, he looked guilty even if it wasn't his fault. But did he think taking a girl out will make her forget about it? Has he even dated a girl seriously? He was clueless you wanted to laugh at him but he looked so serious right now. He's not like you think he is. Fair enough.
"How?" you probed.
He lifted his head up and fixated his eyes on you. "Go out with me." before you could protest again, he pushed himself off the wall and turned his back on you. "As friends." he added, and left you confused.
He is such an irresistible man.
