Chapter 24

-;-Hayley's POV-;-

She thought she'd won. I already had what I needed. I pulled out the worn out diary from my jacket. I hadn't gotten to look at it, but it was pretty small. What the hell was this?

I flipped through the pages and they were all torn out, ripped, or so smeared it was unreadable. I flipped through the pages.

On the last page were 7 words that really pissed me off. They read:

Thought you could get my secrets, HA!

This bitch.

I angrily flipped through the pages. There was nothing here. I threw the diary at the wall. A piece of paper fell out.

I read what it said and laughed.

Not so tough now, huh, Trinity?

I walked back to my dorm laughing. Her attempt at getting dirt on me was an epic fail. I looked brought my jewelry box to find that my old diary was gone.

I shrugged. There was nothing in there anyway. I got out my iPod and signed onto MSN. Luckily Angie was on. I'm pretty sure school was still going on there....

AngieXDXO: Hey gurll

TrinTrin: Heyy!! Isn't school still goin on?

AngieXDXO: Nd your point is....?? Lolzz so anything new?

TrinTrin: Well I'm dating Noah, I dont remember if told you. And Hayley is as bitchy as ever

AngieXDXO: oh don't worry, I plan on taking care of her...NXT WEEK!! I'll be there on Monday at 3:00 sharp.

TrinTrin: betr be!!

AngieXDXO: yea well I g2g ms.peacock is coming back here l8r.

TrinTrin: Bye!! xD

AngieXDXO has signed off.

I started playing Doodle Truck and was yelling at my screen when Kaden walked in. I was to preoccupied with my game.

"Damn watermelons! Stay in the flipping truck!" I yelled.

"Umm..do you need some time alone?" Kaden asked.

"Huh? Oh sorry I was just playing a game." I explained.

"I figured."

I rolled my eyes at him.

Kaden walked into the bathroom and a couple seconds later I heard the shower come on. It was already 6:30 which meant that dinner started in about 45 minutes. I put in my ear buds and put it on shuffle.

30 minutes later I was being jostled awake.

"Ok ok I'm up." I mumbled with my eyes closed.

"Dinner starts soon." Was all Kaden said before walking back to his bed.

I sat up and straightened my shirt. I noticed that Teenage Dream was playing on my iPod. How could I have possibly fallen asleep to S&M?

"So guess what happened today?" I said.

"What?"

"I said guess."

"Ummm you won the lottery?"

"No, someone went into my jewelry box."

Oh shit. She knows that I went in there. I'm fucked.

"Do you know who?" I asked.

"Yeah. And to think I was actually considering being friends with him." She shook her head at me.

Ok...third person much? Maybe she wasn't talking about me.

"Who?"

"Drew. I saw him acting weird in the hallways when he saw me and when I got back to my dorm someone had ransacked my suitcase. I put two and two together and it ended with Hayley on the floor. My diary was missing though." She shrugged.

"Don't you want to go get it back?" I asked

"No, there was nothing in it anyway." She said.

"Oh. Well I don't trust her. She may seem dumb but she's very clever."

"Trust me, I can handle her. Let's go to dinner."

-;-Sam's POV-;-

Lily and I were now walking towards the garden. There was only a couple minutes before dinner. I wrapped my arms around her waist as we were walking.

"That was hilarious at breakfast today." I said.

"I guess."

I stopped walking.

"What?" Lily asked.

"Ever since breakfast you've been acting weird."

"No I haven't." She giggled nervously.

"Yeah, you kinda have. What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"I've known you long enough to know when you're lying."

"Nothings wrong Sam. Let's keep going." She started to walk but I stayed still.

"Dude." Lily said.

"I'm not moving until you tell me what's wrong." I said.

She sighed. "Nothings wrong!"

"Obviously there is." I rolled my eyes.

"Fine."

"Fine what?"

"Fine I'll tell you what's wrong. Ok so...I think people might think that our relationship came outta nowhere."

"What? That's so....stupid. It's fine Lily."

She turned red and started walking away. "It's not stupid."

"I didn't mean you." I ran after her.

"Whatever." she checked her watch.

"Let's go back." She said.

"Why do you care so much about what people think?" I asked.

"I don't."

"Yeah you do. We were secretly dating for like a month because no time was ever the right time to tell everyone. It was fun and all but i would like to be in public with you and not have to pretend you aren't the prettiest girl ever. You would think that now that it's over with you would be happy. But you're not."

She just stared at me, eyes watering. "Sorry."

I sighed, "Sorry for yelling at you."

"No, I deserved it. I'm happy that we're public now." She kissed me on the cheek and took my hand in hers.

"Ok."

"That was not a fun time. Let's not fight again?" She looked up at me with her sparkling green eyes.

"Ok. No more fighting."

We walked back to the lunchroom where everyone already was. They all Aww'd at us when we walked in holding hands.

I rolled my eyes and Lily blushed again.

I sat down next to Lily and across from Noah. He was busy whispering something to Trinity.

"Wanna come to soccer practice tomorrow? Watch from the bleachers?" Noah whispered to me.

I nodded. Soccer was fun. Watching Noah play it would be even better.

"Can't wait." I whispered back.
