Chapter 7

We walked for a couple minutes and ended up at a cafe. The place was called Jitters.

"A café? This is the surprise?" I asked.

"Yep, this is a great place to go and think."

I looked around and again noticed that there were no cashiers. "Is this place paid for too or something?"

"Yep. It's self-serve. What would you like?" I had never really noticed his accent until now. It was cute.

"What can you make?"

"Coffee, coffee, and did I mention coffee?" He flashed me a smile. I almost melted into my converses. I still didn't know how I felt about Noah, but I already knew that I don't do feelings.

"Hmmmm how about a cappuccino?" I said teasingly.

"I'll try..." I watched him pour in random ingredients and I bursted with laughter. He frowned as he worked hard to make it look normal. When he finished his concoction he smiled and placed it in front of me. It looked like mud in a cup.

"Dare me to drink this?" I asked.

"I dare you. I wouldn't even drink th--"

Before he could finish that sentence, I was already gulping it down. It actually didn't taste half bad. It tasted like coffee mixed with sugar, milk, water, and cocoa. Definitely not a cappuccino. I burped and smirked.

"That was not a cappuccino."

He just stared at me, dumb-founded. Then when the shocked phase blew over he started laughing. The whole process took about 5 minutes and he was still laughing.

"Ok, ok I'm done. Let's go." He picked up our cups and dropped them in some container.

"Where to next?" I asked.

"Just the places you should know about."

We walked past all the classrooms, the gym, the auditorium, all the important spots. At least now I knew where everything was. We made our way back to my dorm and when we got there it was kind of akward.

"Well, thanks for being my tour guide."

"Anytime Trinity. Well see you at dinner." He gave a small wave then walked away. I turned around and walked into my room. Kaden, suprisingly, was gone. Damn, I'd forgotten to ask Noah why they didn't like each other. I'd do it at dinner.

I took advantage of Kaden being gone and decided to take a shower. I grabbed some clothes and walked into the shower. Oh crap! I'd forgotten a shirt when I grabbed some clothes. Ugh I would have to finish changing out there. I pulled on the gray skinny jeans and bra I had brought.

I walked out if the bathroom with skinny jeans and a bra on. I heard voices from outside the door. Oh shit! Kaden was back. I rummaged through my suitcase and pulled out a purple tank top. I couldn't help but think there was a reason I found this at the bottom of my suitcase. I started to put it on but my head wouldn't fit through the hole. I think I know why this was at the bottom if my suitcase. It was a size too small.

"Yeah, later guys." I heard Kaden say. Gotta hurry, Gotta hurry! My head was almost through the whole when the door flung open. My head was in far enough so my eyes werent blocked. His face was a mixture of surprise, shock, and amusement. I blushed when I realized the shirt still wasn't covering my chest.

"Um need some help there?" He asked, struggling to not laugh.

"Yeah." my voice was muffled so it came out like "Yfff."

"Ok just stay still." He got a grip on my shirt and pulled it down so my head was free in one fluid motion.

I blushed a tomato red. "Thanks."

"Anytime."

I grabbed a proper shirt then scrambled to the bathroom. When the door closed I exhaled. That was sooooo embarassing. He would probably use that against me. I quickly changed my shirt and cautiously walked out.

Suprisingly, when I walked out. Kaden acted as if that whole fiasco hadn't happened.

-;-Kaden's POV-;-

One word: Woah. I'm in to the room after I hang out with my friends and I see Trinity standing there caught in her own shirt. Not saying it was a bad sight though. To be honest, she was the whole package.

She was hot, knew how to defend herself and her friends, and that was pretty much all I knew about her. I would find out if she was smart on Monday. Not that I would pursue her even if so.

She finally came out of the bathroom, still red from blushing. I could tell she was embarrassed so I acted as if nothing had happened.

"When's dinner?" Trinity asked me.

It was 7 now so about 15 minutes. "15 minutes."

"Cool thanks." She flopped onto her bed and put in her headphones. She turned to face the wall as she lay down. I was secretly watching her every move. She had this effect on me, but I wouldn't let her know it.

Who was this girl? And why did I feel this way around her?

-;-Trinity's POV-;-

There was 10 minutes until lunch. I should probably head out.

"I'm heading to the lunchroom. Wanna come?"

I wasn't sure why I'd invited him along with me.

"Yeah sure. One sec." He put on some Vans and walked towards the door. Soon we were on our way to the luchroom. I was following him since he knew the school better than me. When we got to the lunchroom, we split up. He headed for his soccer friends and I headed for my friends.

On my way to the table, I was intersected by one of the Icicles. I think she was Lacy.

"I don't think you should stray from the head bitch. You might get lost." I smirked at her. Unlike before, probably since it was Lacy and not Hayley, the lunchroom continued it's regular routine. Only the Icicles and my friends were watching us.

"Hahaha very funny." Lacy frowned.

"What do you want?"

"Just wanted to remind you of what Hayley said at lunch today." She got all up in my face when she said this," So stay away from Kaden. Got it hoe? Just because you somehow room with him doesn't mean you have a one up on Hayley. She's the prettiest, most popular girl at school. You have no chance."

I just laughed in her face. She looked confused until I abruptly stopped laughing.

"She sent you all the way over here to say this to me? How pathetic. I told her already, I don't like him and I don't know him so fuck off!" I reached over and grabbed the nearest drink, smirked, and poured it all over her head. Hmmm, a smoothie I think it was. By now we had the whole lunchrooms attention again.

"DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THIS OUTFIT COST?!" She screeched.

I made a point of looking her up and down, "It shouldn't have been priced over a dollar." I shook the remains of the smoothie, blueberry I determined, on her head then walked towards my table.

"Where's the headmaster or principal or whatever? I would have been in trouble at my old school already." I grabbed a fry off my brothers tray.

"You missed a spot sis." Sam high-fived me.

Everyone at the table was still staring at me in shock. They really should get used to this, I could tell this would be a regular thing.
