Chapter 15
"Oh dear lord." I said to myself as I saw all 3 of them in the same room.
"What?" Eric asked.
"Oh nothing."
I passed by Kaden and he smiled at me. I gave him a quick grin then sat next to Noah.
"Hey." I said, sitting down.
"Hey. How's my favorite girl today?" He kissed me on the cheek.
I blushed, "Fine besides the fact that this school is huge. I'm really tired right now."
Noah laughed, "Ms.Varela's here."
Just then a nice looking lady walked in with one other teacher at her side.
"No, he's just going to stay. That's final." Ms.Varela said.
The lady then turned back to the class. "Good Morning class. Since today is the first day, we won't do anything but assign seats. Tomorrow I will assign lab partners."
She got out a list and started assigning seats. In the end I ended up sitting behind Hayley, Eric was right next to me at my table, Noah was in front of Hayley, and Kaden was at the table right next to me and he sat on the right side which meant he was next to me. Very inconvenient since I wanted to keep my distance.
For the rest of the period, Eric and I talked and Hayley shot me dirty looks. Overall, it was pretty fun. Then the bell rang. I quickly gathered my stuff to go to Music.
"Bye!" I said.
"Trinity! Hey, wait up!" Noah quickly ran up to my side.
"Hey Noah."
"Hey. You're going to...music right?"
"Yeah. Room 215."
Soon we were at the stairs.
"Seeya later Noah." I quickly kissed him on the cheek and descended down the stairs.
When I got to the music room I could see Lily and Hannah. I didn't know Hannah was going to be here. You really did learn something new everyday. I walked over to where Lily and Hannah were laughing, sitting on a table.
"Hey guys!" I said.
"Hey! " They both said.
"So what's this class about?"
"Nothing really. This might as well be a free period because Ms.Yang just sits at her desk all day or is next door." Lily said.
I looked around and everyone seemed to be socializing. Free period? Alright!
"So, how're you liking your first day of school here?" Hannah asked quietly. Everything about her was quiet. She could be an axe murderer and we wouldn't even know.
"It's cool." I nodded.
For the rest of the period we all just talked and talked. When the bell rang I waited for Lily and we went to our Creative Writing class. I loved writing, it was one of the things that came easier to me. We walked in and were greeted by a young looking woman, probably in her 20s, that was wearing blue skinny jeans and a purple sweatshirt. She had on sandals and she dark purple glasses.
"Hey Lily. Trinity right?" She asked turning to me.
"Yep."
"Great, you can sit right next to Lily." She smiled then walked towards the back of the room where her desk was.
I sat down to the right of Lily, there was only one other seat on my other side. Finally, the class started to file in. I didn't recognize anyone. Until Kaden walked in. But...I think that was the dude whose smoothie I stole to pour on that Icicle! Good times, good times. I waved frantically at the guy. He gave me a curious look then hesitantly waved back.
"What was that?" Lily asked me.
"That was the guy whose smoothie I poured on that Icicle. Remember?"
"Oh yeah. Well class is starting."
"Hello class. Hope you all had a nice weekend because now it's time to work again."
Half the class laughed and the other half groaned. I laughed.
"Well, today you guys are all going to right a chapter to a story. Just a short, fun chapter. It can be on any topic you like, just keep it appropriate." Ms.Morgan said.
"Can I write about crack?" Some guy asked. The whole class laughed.
"No, you may not write about crack Jordan."
"Ok....what about drugs in general?" The same boy--Jordan?--asked.
"Shut up Jordan. Tomorrow, we will talk about a big collaboration project and partners." Ms.Morgan said, walking back to her desk.
For the next 45 minutes, I wrote a a chapter on a girl that was born into a really bad family then she was put up for adoption and she was thrown into the fancy life. I couldn't think of anything else.
When the bell rang, I had three chapters instead of just one and handed it in to Ms.Morgan. I went back to my seat and gathered up all my stuff.
"Hey."
I turned to who was talking and was surprised to see Kaden. What the fuck? Since when did he sit next to me.
"Oh, hey Kaden." I slung my bag over my shoulder.
I saw Lily waiting for me at the door.
"How do you like the school so far?" Kaden asked as we walked towards the door.
"Fun. Listen, Lily is waiting for me so I'll see you around." I smiled at him then walked with Lily to the lunchroom. It turned out that each building had a lunchroom. Rich people these days...the only rich person I could stand was Angie.
When we walked in, the room was in chaos. Everyone was scattered around, talking, yelling, or anything. I smiled to myself. Just like at my old school. This would be just fine.
