Chapter 44

I walked back to my table in shock. I caught a glimpse of Raine and Noah in a full out make out session a couple tables away from us. I rolled my eyes in disgust.

Why was Raine a student? Probably just to piss me off. Yet another enemy at this school. I looked over and I noticed Hayley glaring at me. I smirked back.

"I'm gonna go now." I said grabbing my bag.

Lily stood up also. "I'm gonna go with her. Bye guys. Bye Sam." She kissed him on the cheek and tried to keep up with me as I speed walked out of the room.

Once outside, I stood against a wall and took deep breaths.

"Woah, what's wrong Trinty?" Lily asked.

"Raine is now a student at Sydney Day." I said quickly.

Lily's eyes widened. "What?!"

"Exactly."

Lily was silent for a couple moments.

"Well so what? Who cares if Raine is here? She's a whore and a slut and you're too good for Noah anyway. Don't let her get to you and definitely don't let her see that she affects you." Lily said.

I hugged her. "Thanks Lily."

"No problem."

We walked to first period and then school began. Today in Algebra all we really did was do bookwork. I talked to Eric and Lily the whole period. When the bell rang I walked to Chemistry with Eric.

I didn't really know what to expect now that Kaden and I were...together. We weren't official yet so we were a secret. I sat next to him and he smiled at me. I smiled back and started opening my book.

Once class started, I could feel Kaden looking at me. I could feel the heat rising in my face.

"What?" I whispered to him.

When he didn't say anything I decided to just ignore him.

"You're turning red Trinity." Eric said to me.

"It's really hot in here." I lied.

I could hear Kaden chuckle softly and I sent him a death glare when Eric flipped his hair.

I could feel Eric's phone vibrate through the table. He looked at it secretively and his whole face lit up.

"Angie?" I asked.

"Yeah." He said.

I laughed softly and turned back to my book. My phone vibrated in my back pocket.

"Shit." I said taking it out and putting it under the table so the teacher couldn't see.

Stop blushing so much.

I could feel the heat rising in my face again and I turned to Kaden and flipped him off. Not funny I mouthed. He was so lucky no one saw or they definitely would notice something between us.

He kept laughing to himself and Hayley turned around and winked at him suggestively. I wanted to slap her so badly but I didn't. I just rolled my eyes.

When the bell rang I hurried to get to Music on time. Once inside I heard Lily and Hannah singing Over the Rainbow.

I clapped as they finished up.

"That was great." I said.

"Thanks." They said.

I noticed Hannah had her hair down and she was wearing make-up. I walked up close to her face.

"Wait, Hannah, are you wearing eye shadow?!" I asked.

She blushed and nodded, "Lily forced it onto me."

"Well if you want to impress D--" Hannah quickly covered Lily's mouth.

"Ooo. I won't pry. Unless you do want to tell me." I said dramatically.

She rolled her eyes. "Ok, I like Dan."

"Who's Dan?"

She motioned to a sandy haired guy with bright blue eyes.

"He's cute." I said.

"Go talk to him." Lily pushed Hannah a little.

"I don't think so. You go talk to him for me." Hannah hid behind me.

"I'll talk to him for you." I said.

I walked over to where Dan was and pretended to be looking for something.

"Need some help?" I looked up and Dan was there.

"Thanks i'm just looking for something for my friend Hannah over there." I nodded towards her direction.

He looked over at her and I could see him stare at her for just a little longer than normal.

"Oh whats she looking for?" He said. I could still see him looking at her out of the corner of his eyes.

"Something for Over the Rainbow." I said.

"Oh was she singing that a second ago? She's really good. And so is Lily." He said.

"Yeah, you should go over and give it to her since you've been sneaking peeks at her this whole time." I teased.

He turned a light pink. "You saw that?"

"Yep. Now go give it to her." I said handing it to him.

Once he started walking I motioned for Lily to come over to me. We watched Dan hand the papers to a startled Hannah. She was actually very pretty. She just hid it.

They talked for a little while and Dan scribbled something down for her on a piece of paper and hand it to her. Lily and I high-fived. Dan walked back to us.

"Thanks." He said.

"Good luck." We said to him and we walked back to Hannah and asked for all the details.

Dan had asked her to Jitters after school. That's all Hannah would tell us. Once the bell rang we wished he luck on her date and Lily and I walked to Creative Writing.

Today we continued to write some short stories so that Ms.Morgan could "evaluate our writing potential". The whole period Kaden and I sneak texted each other, making me blush in the process and catching Lily's interest.

If Lily found out, I knew she wouldn't tell anyone without my permission but it was best to just keep things under wraps for a little bit. Hopefully everything would go according to plan.
