Chapter 36

-;-Trinity's POV-;-

"Wake up! We need to go shopping before the party!" Sierra shook me.

"Five more minutes." I rolled the other way.

All of a sudden I was pushed roughly out of bed. Angie, Sierra, Lily, and Chelsea all stood over me laughing.

"Who the hell did that?" I asked.

"Just get up and take a shower. We need to shop for outfits for the talent show before we go to the beach." Angie threw a towel at me.

"Bitches pushing me out of bed." I muttered as I walked to the bathroom. They all just laughed.

I took a quick shower and got ready. I really needed to get some more cash.

"Alright, let's go. Do we need Drew again?" I asked.

"No, I have a car." Chelsea twirled her keys around her index finger.

"Nice."

In 10 minutes we were back at the mall, thinking of costumes. We were all looking around when I found a bunch of really cute boyfriend T-shirts that said NO BOYFRIEND in a diagonal from the boob to the waist. They were really cute and in all different colors. All the shirts were white but had the words in a different color.

Yes, I had an obsession with boyfriend t-shirts. But can you blame me?

"Guys look at these!" I called for everyone.

They all came and instantly picked out their colors.

"Purple!" Angie called.

"Why purple?" Chelsea asked.

"Because of Justin Bieber." She humped and walked away with the shirt.

"Pink!" Lily took the shirt and fled

"Orange." Chelsea said.

"Blue!" Sierra called.

The only one left was a white one that said no boyfriend in yellow. I took it and looked for pairs of shorts.

"I have an idea, we should all find shorts that match the color of our words." Lily suggested.

"Ok." I said.

We all went to the shorts section and they all found shorts except me.

"I can't find yellow ones." I said.

"Hmm, let's just go to a different store." Angie suggested.

We all checked out and went to a bunch of different stores but none had yellow shorts.

"This is the last decent looking store in the mall." Chelsea pointed towards a store. It was named Kiss it. Didn't sound very promising.

We all spread looking for a pair of yellow shorts.

"I found one!" Angie yelled.

We all went over to her and sure enough she was holding a pair of yellow shorts.

"But there's a catch." Angie said.

She turned them around and on the back it said Kiss It in white but outlined with black.

"Black and yellow!" Lily sang.

"I think it would add a good effect." Sierra put in.

"I don't know." I said.

"Let's just buy it. It's the only pair of shorts we can find." Angie said.

We checked out and went to go buy matching shoes.

"We should get matching converse." Chelsea said.

So we all bought matching converses. We were passing by Zumiez when I saw it. I walked in and looked at it. It was a black and yellow checkered belt. It was so cute!

"Let's all buy accessories." Sierra said.

I grabbed a pair of yellow hoops and the belt and waited for everyone to finish. Once we were done we got some food and drove back to the school to get ready for the party.

We all decided to meet up near the parking lot in like an hour. The party started at 3 and it was 2 right now so we had plenty of time.

"What are you wearing?" I asked Angie and Sierra.

"Shorts and a tube top." Sierra said.

"Shorts and a halter."

"I don't know what I'm wearing." I said digging through my bags.

"What about that sun dress you just bought?" Angie asked.

"Wear a sun dress..near a bunch of immature guys that get their kicks by lifting girls skirts up? I don't think so." I said.

"Wear shorts under it, durr." Sierra said.

That actually wasn't a bad idea. I looked through my shopping bags but couldn't find the dress.

"It's not in here. Shit, it's probably in my dorm." I said.

"Just go get it." Angie said.

I left the room and turned the handle slowly and pushed the door open. Turns out Kaden was in there.

He just looked at me. Stick to the plan. I couldn't be with Kaden. Which means no unnecessary eye contact. I looked away and started digging through my suitcase for the dress. I found it and put it in a bag along with some shoes that matched. I also put a red bikini I didn't known I had brought into the bag in case I felt like swimming.

I got up to leave.

"Trinity, wait." Kaden started.

I stayed where I was, not facing him.

"I--" He said then stopped

I turned around and gave him a blank look.

"Yes?" I said.

"Never mind." He sighed.

I had to restrain myself to keep from telling him that I was sorry. But I couldn't. I didn't say anything and walked out.

"Hey guys." I said to Angie and Sierra who were fully dressed.

"Hurry up. What took you so long? Did you and Kaden have another makeout session?" Angie teased.

"Not funny."

I quickly changed into my outfit.

"Ooh girl look at you!" Sierra teased.

"Thanks." I said.

We packed towels and sunblock and left. We met up with Chelsea and Lily and drove to the party. The party was at some place called Bondi Beach. I didn't know how, but it looked like Hayley had rented out the whole beach and huge beach house for the party. Even I had to give her her props.

The party looked awesome. There were people dancing, swimming, surfing, and everything in between. They were towels all over and they were tiki torches placed around.

"This place looks great." I said.

"And you said you didn't want to come." Sierra rolled her eyes.

"That's because Hayley was throwing it." I said.

We all set up our blankets and put our stuff down. This could actually be really fun. Then I saw Raine walking around with Noah.

Well, there goes that idea.
