Chapter 4

I woke up like two hours later and Kaden was still there on his bed. I rolled over onto my back and stared at the ceiling. All the days events flooded through my brain, even though it was only 12:00 p.m. here in Sydney. It was 7:00 p.m back home in Houston. I was hungry. As if on cue, my stomach growled. Loudly.

I heard Kaden laugh,"Hungry?"

I turned my head to face him and nodded.

"Lunch is in an hour," he said before going back to his guitar.

I got out of bed and dragged my suitcase to my bed then heaved it on to it. I put it on my bed so that it opened up to the wall with me on the other side so that Kaden couldn't see anything. I was a girl and I had some...items that he didn't need to see.

No need to unpack too much, I shouldn't be here for long.

So I pulled out dark blue skinny jeans, a green tank top, and a navy blue sweater. I figured the bathroom was the door directly across from Kaden's bed, since it was the only other door besides the exit. So, I got up and walked into the bathroom. One word: wow. The shower had one of those slider doors that was made out of glass that you couldn't see through.  There was a porcelain sink that had a wide, shiny mirror above it. The toilet was in the corner, facing the door. The bathroom was spotless, another pleasant surprise.  I changed into my new outfit, keeping on my black converses.

I'd decided to explore the school a little before lunch. Anything was better than staying in a room with a silent boy whom I didn't know. I could go by Sam's room and ask him if he wanted to join me. I walked out of the bathroom to see Kaden now lying down, facing towards the ceiling, eyes closed.

"When does lunch start?" I asked.

"1:00." He didn't even open his eyes. My phone had adjusted itself to this time zone so now I could easily keep track of time. I got my map and was out the door. I leaned against the door and exhaled. I hadn't even realized I had been holding my breath.

-;-Kaden's POV-;-

As soon as the door closed, I was up and pacing the room.

It couldn't be the same Trinity....could it? There were a lot of differences. Old Trinity had reddish hair, this one had dark brown hair.

It's still kind of red. Not as red as before though.

This ones eyes were also not blue, at least I don't think so. She had  had her hair in her face all day. But the biggest difference, her neck. Her necklace wasn't on it. Back when we were younger, that Trinity had this necklace that she never, ever took off and she had sworn that she never would. The necklace was simply a chain with a key on it. The key was to our secret hiding/hangout place.

I hoped she wasn't the same Trinity. What were the odds of that? Even if she was the same one, she would hate me. I had abruptly cut off all contact with old trinity. No doubt I was scum to her. Why was she even in this room? I thought it was always girl/girl and boy/boy rooming. Well whatever mixup there was, hopefully this girl was out sooner than later.

-;-Trinity's PoV-;-

Some people would get lost in a huge school with multiple buildings. I wasn't part of those people. I had a very good sense of direction. Right now I was in the rec room. A rec room! It had pinball, gaming systems, and a multiple tv's. Not to mention it was jam packed with people. Probably because it was a Saturday.

All around me, people were either playing games on one of the tv's, watching real tv, or talking to someone. I was on the outside of all this chaos. I was about to leave when I was bumped by some guy with a group of his friends.

"What the hell!" I said loud enough for only the group to hear.

They all turned towards me in surprise, as if they had only just realized I was standing there.

The guy who bumped and turned to look at me. He turned around in surprise and looked me up and down, checking me out then shot me a seductive grin. "Sorry...?"

"Trinity."

"Trinity, pretty. I'm Drew." He shot me another grin. He had dirty blonde hair and light blue eyes. He was cute, but in that annoying playerish, jocky way. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Sorry for the idiot. I'm Chelsea." She pushed Drew out of the way and took his place in front of me.

"S'ok."

"Are you new around here or something? I thought I knew everyone."

"Yeah, me and my brother just got here this morning."

"Cool. Well, welcome to Sydney Day Boarding School." She flashed a friendly grin.

"Thanks." I half-smiled back.

"This is Eric, Hannah, Liliana a.k.a Lily, Noah, Madison, and of course Drew."

"Hey." I gave a small wave. A chorus of heys came from the large group.

Eric had black hair and gray eyes. He was really cute. Hannah seemed very quiet, she looked exactly like Eric. Probably twins. Lily was obviously a cheerleader. So cheery and perky. She had red hair and green eyes. She was freakin' adorable. Noah had dark brown hair and navy blue eyes. He was by far the most attractive guy to me out of the whole group. If I did relationships, he would be the one. Madison was a dirty blonde with blue eyes. Chelsea had dirty blonde hair also but had green eyes.

"So where are you from?" Chelsea asked.

"Houston,Texas."

"Aaah an American." Eric said.

I nodded. The clock in the corner said 12:40. When did that happen? I still didn't know where the lunchroom was. Chelsea followed my gaze to the clock and smiled.

"Don't worry, we'll take you to lunch. We should leave now anyways."

"Yeah, you can sit next to me." Drew winked at me.

"In your dreams." I followed Chelsea out of the rec room.

"Feisty I see." Drew said following close behind me. I felt arms wrap around my waist.

"Let go, we're being left behind." I said, slapping his hands.

"They can wait." He got a tighter grip on my waist.

Who the fuck does this kid think he is. Nothing I couldn't handle though. Let's play .

"Yeah they can." I leaned closer to Drew and positioned my lips a short distance from his. I could tell that he was surprised that I was actually going with it.

I leant in real close and let him lean in a little before I slapped him.

"What the hell?!" He exclaimed.

"Next time don't mess with me." I said with a smirk. Luckily, I caught up with Chelsea who had been looking for me.

"Where were you?"

"Just taking care of some things." Just then Drew walked up rubbing his face. When he dropped his hand he revealed a bright red hand mark on his cheek.

Chelsea looked from me to him then grinned. "I like her already." Everyone laughed at Drew.

"Ok here we are."

"Great, I'm starving."

When we walked in, we were greeted by delightful aromas. Australia must be doing it right because American lunch is always trash.

"I thought lunch was supposed to suck."

"Well, welcome to Sydney Day."
