boruto x Fem reader: Out Of Reach

Chapter 6

Y/n pov :

I  turned towards Himawari and Boruto and waved goodbye, heading straight home

'well I am defnitely going to be getting an earful tonight and some new bruises' I thought as i entered the house, just a few mintes later father came in and just as I suspected he was pissed he said that I made the women uncomfotable with what I said he then scolded me for leaving after he told me not to

I  received a smack through the face and it stung, I went to my room closing the  door behind me and switching off the light, going to bed that night with a mark on my face

the next morning when I woke up I made breakfast for both my father and I, he just came into the kitchen ate it and left, not even saying thank you, he also grabbed his lunch I packed for him

I then sighed as i fell onto the couch closing my eyes before drifting off to sleep again

boruto pov:

when I saw y/n last night I didn't get to thank her properly, and  also after last night when y/n saw her father, the way she talked to him, it wasn't rude it just sounded like she became a whole new person she was smiling and laughing with us but when he came her smile faded and she  looked scared for a moment

I decided to go to her house when its lunch time to see how she is doing

once I arrived at the door I  knocked, but nothing happened, I then knocked again and heard some movement behind the door

y/n opened the door with her eyes still half closed like she was still sleeping but her eyes widend when she saw me

''b-boruto what are you doing here? '' she asked nervously as she fixed her hair ''  I haven't even dressed yet this is so embarresing''

I laughed a bit at her actions ''its lunch time and your still sleeping''

she then nodded shyly and then looked at me ''what brings you here Boruto? ''

''I wanted to say thank you for taking our punishments and for last night it was fun''I gave her a small smile looking at her up and down, I must admit she looked really cute with her hair messy- wait no what am I thinking

''ooh yeah its no problem and sorry  about last  night'' she laughed nervosuly as she scratched the back of her  head ''anyway dont you have school''

''it's lunch time'' I said and  remebered that i need to get going otherwise I  wont get to  eat, I was late this morning so I didn't have a chance to eat breakfast, before I told her I needed to leave there was a sound coming from my stomach, both me and y/n looked down

y/n started laughing and my face became red

''I  see you haven't eaten do you want to come in I can make us some lunch'' she offered, I thought about it for a moment before agreeing, she then opened the door  for me to come in

when I stepped inside y/n led me to the kitchen and told me to sit while she was making the food, I was looking around and saw there was a broken chair and some blood on the wall, I was going to ask y/n but when I turned to look at her I froze when I saw the food, it looked amazing

she finished making us some lunch and brought it to me ''thank you for the food''

While we were eating we were talking and having fun

''from today we will be practicing with shuriken'' I said as I  put some food in my mouth

''yeah thats sounds fun, just don't cause any trouble you got that'' she looked at me from the corner of her eye glaring at me, a cold sweat dropped and I laughed nervously

''when do I ever make trouble'' I strachted the back of my head

''when don't you make trouble is the question to ask'' she said  as she chuckled and put the last bit of her food in her mouth

after I finished the food I had to leave because lunch was almost over ''thank you for the food it was really delicious'' I bowed as we got to the front door

''n-no problem you should head back lunch is almost over'' she said waving her hands infront of her i said goodbye and left

y/n pov:

after Boruto left i felt happy I had a bit of company but know I had to clean the house before father come and I need to get things ready to make dinner tonight

it was a good thing I started cleaning the house when I did because father came earlier than he usually does, atleast he was satisfied with the cleaning and I was aloud to eat with him tonight, we didn't really talk I could see he wasn't in a really good mood and I don't know what whould have happened if he wasn't satisfied with the cleaning as I was standing  up and taking out plates to go wash them my father told me to go to shopping tommorrow we will be having a guest over that night and there must be enough food

I just nodded and went to go clean the dishes and went to go take a shower after I did the homework Shino-sensei sent and went to bed straight after

day 2

the next morning I woke up with a loud noise coming from the kitchen, I quickly rushed and saw my father throwing stuff around

''where is it?'' he asked looking for something while throwing stuff around

''what are you searching for father'' I asked, walking down the stairs and saw a even bigger mess than I thought there was

''you took it didn't you'' he started walking closer to me not focusing on his search anymore ''where did you hide it! '' he yelled as he stopped in front of me pointing towards me

''I didn't take anything'' I looked at him, trying not to show him I am scared, he then raised his hand and slapped me through the face

''you did you always take stuff, now where did you put it''

I held onto my cheek as I began to feel the stinging pain '' I don't know what you are talking about father''

he then grabbed my shoulder and shoved me out of his way, and then started walking towards my room, slamming the door open and then began searching through everything , searching for who knows what, after he turned my whole room upside down he walked past me going downstairs again and went into the kitchen

I followed behind him but not to close, I then saw him take something out of the kitchen and then headed towards the door

''I want this house clean when I come back'' He said opening the door and then slamming it shut before he left, I then sighed in relief after he left and then went to my room to go get dressed to go do the shopping, after I do the shopping I will clean the house

once I was done I took the money my father left and closed the door behind me, locking it
