Chapter 12

y/n pov:

In the morning Hinata and I are going to go do some shopping since most of the scars are gone, and I need some new clothes, I felt awful about it but Hinata told me to not, we were saying goodbye to Boruto and headed straight to the store after he left

''how about these'' Hinata pointed towards  dresses, and I took about 2 of them and then some shirt and pants, after we were done we went home and got dressed, I was looking at myself in the mirror and I look like a different person, I feel more confident now, I was wearing an f/c dress with some white shoes, Hinata fixed my hair and everything, I decided only to  wear a dress today since we  won't be fighting or anything, but other days I will be wearing clothes suitable for fighting, but for today this will be fine

I smiled at myself in the mirror before walking downstairs seeing Hinata at the door, standing with two bento boxes, and I sigh ''Boruto forgot his lunch'' I shook my head, and Hinata laughed and said  yes, I then thanked her again

I took both bento in my hand and left, heading towards school, while  walking a few people were staring, but not like a judgy stare a different type of stare, as I enter the Academy I see everyone sitting outside and the  Academy destroyed, walking closer, no one has noticed me

''sorry I am late sensei'' I stopped next to sensei, he turned to look at me his mouth wide open

''ooh y/n it's you, you look different'' he laughed, he then told me about what happened yesterday after I left, and I nodded and headed towards everyone, as I walk closer a small breeze was blowing

I stop in front of everyone, they turn to look at me some mouth hanging wide open

''Boruto'' I said in a stern voice

''damn Boruto since when do  get all the attractive girls, so  it's not just y/n who lives with you but this hottie as well'' one of the classmates said nudging Boruto

''I don't know who this is''

I mentally  facepalm myself,  stepping closer handing him the bento ''stand up''

he did as I said, putting down the box, and standing up ''I thought I said no more trouble'' I punched him causing him to fly towards Shikadai, I then made my way towards Shikadai them ''and you now he can't summon  and then you let him summon a huge snake'' I smacked Shikadai and Inojin, the drop Boruto and put their hands on their cheeks

''We always get dragged into this'' Shikadai rubbed his cheek

''yeah'' Inojin agreed, I then turned to look at Boruto walking towards my bento ''you left the bento at home,  you should be thankful we went shopping and went home otherwise you would have starved'' I took a seat everyone staring at me

''y/n!'' Boruto yelled, standing up and rushing towards me ''y/n?!'' the rest except Shikadai and Inojin shouted, Boruto then got his fist ready to hit me but I grabbed it ''what are you doing? ''

''Just making sure you are y/n I mean you know'' he looked at me up and down laughing nervously ''who else would I be, a rogue''

''that's what I wanted to see'' he scratched the back of his head and I sigh, standing up and taking my bento with heading towards Sarada them

''damm that's y/n'' I hear one of the boys say

'We were running through a forest being chased by rogue ninja, everyone was there not just me and Boruto but all my classmates, suddenly we were surrounded and in a blink of an eye, each rogue has one of my classmates, and the leader of the rogue have Boruto with a kunai pressed against his neck 'come with us' he pushed the kunai closer, warning me that if I don't he will die, I take out a kunai and threw it to the ground, their focusing their attention on it so I took this opportunity to knock all of them out except the leader he caught my hand removing the kunai from Boruto's neck and turned to face me  , I then took out another kunai and stab him only for a log to fall to the floor, I turn around and see him behind Boruto and I long sword piercing through him, the leader pulled out the sword causing Boruto to fall to the ground, I rush towards him feeling for a pulse but it was gone'

I jolt up from the dream my cheeks wet, I bring my hand up to my cheek wiping the tears, I quietly got up opening the door, and walking towards Boruto's room opening his door quietly, walking in, and closing the door behind me. I walked closer afraid that it wasn't a dream and it was real, stepping closer I see a figure in the bed covered in blankets, I lift the blanket a bit seeing Boruto sleeping, and I sigh in relief, just as I let go of the blanket Boruto grabs my wrist sitting up and rubbing his eyes

''y/n what are you doing in here so late? '' he asked in a sleepy voice

''I umm I had a bad dream''

Boruto switched on his lamp, and I quickly covered my face so he won't see I was crying

''why are you crying? '' he asked getting out of bed and standing in front of me taking my hands off my face ''what was the dream about? ''

I was hesitant to answer but answered quietly ''the dream was about you dying, so I just-'' he put his hand on my cheek ''wanted to see if it was real or not'' he finished my sentence and I nodded, he wiped away the tears pulling me into a hug placing my head on his chest ''do you hear that? '' he asked and I listen closely, hearing his heartbeat

''see I am still alive, you can hear my heartbeat so don't worry, and I don't plan on going anywhere'' he put his hand on my head ''do you, do want to sleep with me tonight'' he asked shyly

''are you sure? '' I pulled away, and he nodded

he then went to switch off the lamp leading me towards the bed, when we were on the bed he covered me with his blanket I turned my back against him, I felt him wrap his arms around my waist hesitantly, I then moved closer to him my back pressing against him, and I could feel him laying his head on my back, after a few minutes I fell asleep

I have never slept like that in a while the warmth of Boruto helped, when I woke up the next morning both my and Boruto's face were close to each other and while my eyes were opening so were his so we both saw how close our faces were, I quickly pushed away causing me to fall to the floor

''oww'' I rubbed the back of my head

''I am so sorry'' we both said, it was silent for a while before we both started laughing, I stood up and looked at Boruto ''thank you Boruto for last night'' I smiled at him

''yeah no problem'' he looked away, I left the room closing the door behind me thinking back to what happened I feel my face heat up
