boruto pov:

''you're her mom''

she nodded as she removed her hand from y/n, causing her to stop healing her

''I'm afraid I won't be able to help her in my current state. She has lost a lot of blood and they stole a lot of her chakra and like I said it's amazing how she stayed awake that long''

I wrap my arms around y/n picking her up. I look at her and an image of her smiling flashes through my mind but I snap out of my thoughts

''y/n she...'' I look at m/n ''she's been hurting and I'm partly to blame for that so I want to apologize'' I once again look at y/n

''it turned red'' m/n said, I lift my head and look at her, she looked very fragile and it also looked like she was about to pass out ''you're someone special to y/n so no matter how much pain you think you have caused for her she found a way to forgive you, I am mean otherwise it wouldn't have turned red''

''what do you mean by it turning red, you mean her chakra, But what does that mean?''

she turned around ''I leave that to y/n to explain''

after that, we headed back to the village and we were greeted by everyone waiting there for us to return. My mom made her way towards us hugging my dad and when she turned to look at me her eyes widened

''What happened? Is she okay?'' my mom asked as she placed her hand on y/n head ''she's burning up ''

'it's probably the same as before when she used too much blood and her body had to get use to it, the same is happening now again' I thought

I nod and my dad calls one of the shinobi and told them to take y/n, I was a bit worried but knowing y/n she will wake up soon

m/n was taken to the hospital and she was healed and then taken for interrogation. The attack by the gang calling themselves the Otsutsuki clan caused a lot of damage in the village and resulted in the cancellation of the Chunin exams but things started turning back to normal in the village. I sigh as I open the door and see y/n still laying on the bed, I could hear her heart monitor and her breathing. I stood at the door looking at her before someone snapped me out of my thought

''are you just gonna stand there'' m/n said and that's when I realized she was also in the room

I clear my throat

''ms l/n I didn't realize you were here to sorry for intruding, I'll get going now''

''m/n is fine'' she said as she took a seat ''and you're not, I just arrived, they finally let me out of interrogation so I came here there's something I need to do''

she placed her hand's ontop of y/n

''if I may ask, what is it you want to do''

''as you probably know y/n is one of the Arcane and so am I, and I believe there is a way for me to speak to her now. The previous chosen 2 have their own little 'meeting' place and since I am an arcane I can go into the 'meeting' place'' she said

I nod slowly 'I have no idea what she just said'
