Borruto pov:

the next day I wanted to pull a prank but failed miserably, I won't be telling y/n about this for sure, she would kill me, I had to be hung upside down for what I did, and I found out we were going to the hidden mist

'that's where y/n will go,'

and I got nominated as the leader for the trip, even without my permission, but what can I say now I can brag to y/n that I got chosen

the trip to the hidden mist was faster than I expected

''Welcome to the hidden mist village'' an unfamiliar voice welcomed us, he stopped in front of us and the girls were already in love I swear ''I will be your guide today, I am Kagura Karatachi''

I could hear the girls squeal from beside me and couldn't hear anything Anko-sensei was saying, they then finally settled down a bit as he walked closer to us

'' I am so happy to be welcoming the son of the legendary Naruto Uzumaki the seventh and his classmates'' he bowed as he finished talking

I then extend my hand ''my father has nothing to do with this, I am Boruto Uzumaki'' I huge grin was plastered on my face, and he shook my hand

after that we were being shown around, the village was awesome, we were lead through a waterfall thing and came out the other side and saw a lot of people

''We are so busy today, we have a new visitor in town, what a coincidence that the person showed up right before you'' Kagura said before we all ran our separate ways, but it stopped everyone in the tracks and turned to look at him, he then pointed towards a huge crowd

''is that person over there in between the crowd'' I asked turning my attention towards the crowds

''yeah she is the reason there is a crowd'' he smiled as he turned towards the crowd as well

''its a girl-'' I began but soon cut off by Shikidai

''it's y/n'' he pointed towards the crowd, the crowd started making space when I saw y/n walk past them, she was wearing a beautiful f/c dress, everything about her just, wow I am speechless I can see why there is a crowd around her

''you know her?'' Kagura asked and we all nodded

''yeah she goes to the Academy with us, she is also in our class'' Denki answered him, and everyone hummed in response

''But why isn't she with you guys then'' he asked again out of curiosity

''well y/n had some traveling to do, Boruto did you know y/n would be at the hidden mist'' Shikidai asked as he looked at me from the corner of his eye

''yeah but I didn't think we would run into her'' I nod as I kept my eyes on

''Boruto are you and this girl close because you said you knew she would be here'' kagura stopped next to me putting his hand on my shoulder

''They fought so they aren't on good ground right now'' Sarada walked past us ''this idiot lost his temper over nothing''

''I didn't lose my temper! '' I said crossing my arms and trying to convince them and myself

''ooh really, ok then call her over'' Sarada pointed towards y/n and I nodded no

''she is busy''

''it looks like there are a bunch of guys flirting with her, aren't you going to do something'', I felt my face heat up, I shot Sarada a glare

''because you like her'' Sarada answered bluntly, and my face turned a shade redder

''no I don't'' I tried to protest, but it didn't look like she cared much of what I was saying

''y/n!'' Shikidai shouts from beside me, I turn to look at him and he just shrugs, y/n turned her attention towards us, and gave a small smile as she saw everyone, when her eyes landed on me it looked like she froze, Shikidai motioned her over and she did squeezing past everyone

''hey guys what a surprise, are you on a field trip?'' she looked at us and we nodded

''lucky just when-'' she began but stopped once we heard her name being called, we turned around to see a hidden mist shinobi, she nodded and then turned to face us ''sorry I have something important to do'' and with that she disappeared with the shinobi

after y/n everyone went back to what they were doing, Sarada's words kept on repeating in my mind, there is no way I like y/n or do I, my thoughts were cut off when I bumped into someone

''Sorry about that'' I apologized as I sat on the floor ''Hey wait up you're the one who bumped into him! '' I hear Iwabee walk past me

''huh, so what if I did brats from the hidden leaf have no business nosing around our iland'' the guy said looking down at Iwabee

''What!?'', I could see Iwabee was about to start a fight, I stood up and walked closer, and stopping right in front of the guy

''you knew we were from the hidden leaf village? '' I asked him as he looked down at me

''yeah I could tell instantly from your gloomy face'' he said with a smirk on his face

''too bad I thought this was a pretty cool village -'' I was going to say something but got interrupted by a voice I know all too well

''come on now don't be mean to the hidden leaf '' y/n stopped next to the guy and put her hand on his shoulder, he started to blush like crazy ''how about we leave them be, and we can go do something together instead'' y/n whispered in his ear

I was trying not to laugh, and I think y/n knew because she sent me a glare as she whispered those word, the guy and he nodded his head, and the friend that was hiding in the shadows agreed, y/n then took both of them by the arms and walked away

she turned to look at me before she looked back in front of her, 'these guys are such perverts can't they see she is our age, I mean the dress she was wearing does make her more bea-'
