boruto x Fem reader: Out Of Reach

Chapter 11

y/n pov:

I hear someone yell, I quickly ran to the back of the school, infusing chakra at the bottom of my feet, and ran up the building reaching the top in less than 5 minutes, when I reached the top I saw everyone at the bottom

I turned my attention towards the flag, and replacing it with a purple cloth I had taking the flag and put it around my wrist jumping the top of the roof waiting for the rest to show up

and finally, after  10 minutes  I hear an explosion seeing Boruto on top of the roof with a scroll on his back and I see Cho-Cho climbing towards the fake flag, not noticing its fake

''I'm not gonna let you'' biting his finger and doing hand signs doing summoning jutsu not expecting anything to happen I sit back down but soon stood up when there was a purple light and I see this snake thing coming out of the purple light heading towards Cho-Cho but it missed

This caused her to fall, but Boruto ran to catch her the same time he did that I jumped down and ran towards them, Boruto grabbed Cho-Cho but they both fell off the roof, I ran quickly towards them grabbing Boruto, Shikidai and inojin grabbed me

he looked at me before looking at Cho-Cho he then turned to look at me with fear in his eyes, I then noticed he was staring at the snake, I used my strength to  throw Boruto  in the air Shikidai and inojin catching them

I attacked the snake, with wind style, but the summoning wasn't undone so Konohamaru-sensei used his Rasengan, I head directly after that to help Boruto them, pulling them with the little strength I had left, I fell to the floor, breathing heavily

''We are saved'' Boruto said

''I'm tired''
''I'm hungry''

I look at them a smile forming on my face, they sure complain a lot, I threw my head back trying to catch my breath

''by the way, wheresy the flag? '' Inojin ask, and I look at them and then search for the fake flag hoping it wasn't destroyed

we all then turn our attention towards Sumire as she is holding the flag ''I guess-'' Boruto said but got cut off by Shikadai ''that's not the flag'' he said as a cold sweatdropped and everyone's mouths then opened

''noo it got destroyed'' I stood up rushing towards Sumire and sighed ''y/n why are you worried about a fake flag, the real one could be here somewhere'' Shikadai turn to look at me

''it's right here'' I unwrapped the flag  and showed it to them, grinning ''I switched it'' I then put the flag around my neck so it's blowing in the wind ''so I guess I  win''

we all then went down not sure what to do

''that was a big snake you summoned Boruto''

I stopped listening when I saw Shino-sensei, and talked to him

''sorry Cho-Cho'' Boruto apologized and I looked at him, he looked at me but looked away immediately and I sigh

'he has been like this the whole day, and I yet again overstepped that boundary I said I should stop otherwise they will leave' I look down

''so y/n won'' Sarada said looking at me and everyone looked at me '' we have no complaint of you winning so what do you want?'' she asked and everyone nodded

I then looked at them before pulling up my hood, looking down and turning away to walk away ''nothing, I kinda cheated with the whole kunai thing so, it's not fair, and like Boruto said I am powerful so it wasn't fair'' I waved as I kept on walking ''but today was fun, see you tomorrow''

Boruto pov:

as I watch y/n leave I feel bad, I have been acting awful to her the whole day, and I didn't even thank her, I let out a sigh and turn to look at everyone, and they were all staring at me, giving me glares

''what? '' I asked standing up

''seriously, you have been mean to
y/n all day, she saves you and you don't even thank her, and we know you live together now, so are you going to let her walk alone, I get she is 'powerful' but you could see y/n is hurt go talk to her'' Sarada said in a stern voice, pointing towards the way y/n went

''I need to go home too, so I will walk her but not because you said that'' I crossed my arms and started walking, but when I turned the corner I started running, and I see y/n in the distance

''y/n!'' I shout  and she just kept on walking, catching up to her I try to  catch my breath ''you were quite far'' I nervously laugh and she just looks down, but she stops and I do the same, I then put my hand on her hood and  pull in down, revealing her face, I could see she  had tears in her eyes

''you know I lied when I said I don't want anything, I do'' she paused but spoke again, but whispering this time ''I want you to promise me you won't leave me, my father told me that when people will see my power they will leave and today-'' I cut her off by hugging her

''I am sorry, I was an awful person today it's just that I got jealous, you seem so powerful, even though you are the same age as me, but I didn't realize I was hurting you, please forgive me, and I promise I will never leave you, y/n you might not realize but you are important to me, please don't ever forget that, even if I push you away, please don't forget what  we talked about today but promise me you won't leave '' I rubbed her back, and I could hear her sniffling

''you're important to me to that's why I don't want you to leave, and I promise to never leave without saying goodbye  '' she pulled away and I put my hands on her cheek wiping the tears away

''come let's go home'' I smiled at her and she nodded returning the smile

when we arrived home y/n was smiling again and she also promised she would train with me every afternoon if we get the time and help me, opening the door I see my little sister Himawari, but she ignored me walked right to y/n hugging her first

''am I not important anymore'' I pout crossing my arms, and hear both of them laugh ''you are it's just had something I had to tell y/n first'' Himawari then came to give me up, and picked her up piggy-back style, walking towards the kitchen y/n following

and she headed toward Mother telling her something I could see mother's face lit up and gave her a big smile,
y/n then helped to prepare dinner, and we ate, y/n asked if tomorrow I can tell Shino-sensei that she will be late,  and I nodded
