Chapter 21

Naruto pov:

I heard about what happened and headed straight towards the Hospital, we were digging through y/n's memories and saw what happened

''How bad is it?'' I asked  Sakura standing next to me

''really bad, she lost a lot and I mean a lot of chakra'' she looked at y/n through the glass window ''I don't get how she could have done what she did after losing so much chakra and blood'' we both stared at y/n as we see her being healed by the other medical ninja

''And what Sumire said about y/n means her life can be in danger as well'' Sakura turns to look at me and I just nod ''she will be fine Naruto don't worry''

''what will I tell Boruto? '' I asked myself out loud

''you can just tell him I am sure he will understand, she won't die she will just be unconscious for a while, her body needs to rest it went through a lot'' Sakura said  before heading towards y/n and helped heal her, I disappeared heading towards the academy

they were all sitting outside, Shino noticed me and greeted me causing everyone to turn around ''Shino I need to speak with Boruto just for a minute is that fine? '' I ask looking at Shino, he nods and Boruto  stood up walking towards me, we were only a few feet away from the others

''it's about y/n -'' I started but got cut off

''please tell me she is ok, she will be fine right if she isn't I don't think I will be able to-'' Boruto started but this time I cut him off

''she is doing just fine, she will just be in the hospital for a few days or weeks, her body just needs to rest''

I hear Boruto sigh in relief ''I hope she will be able to forgive me'' his head dropped, I put my hand on his head

''it wasn't your fault and y/n even said she trusts you with her life'' I  give him a smile

''you looked at her memories? '' he looked at me and I nod

''that's all I came to say, try not to worry too much '' I walked towards Sai

*1 week later*

Boruto pov:

its been over a week since everything has happened, and I have visited y/n each day to see how she is doing, they say she is fine and should wake up any day, I want to believe them since I know how strong y/n is and she will wake up, it's  just I don't know if I am ready to face her, the last time we talked was at the post office when I called her jealous, and at dinner when she was talking about me, and we talked during the attack

I open the door that leads to y/n bed, as I walked closer I see her unconscious figure and I sigh in disappointment,  I wished she was awake right now,  there is so much I need to say, ever since the attack I have been thinking about what I said

I don't  have feelings for y/n but I feel something, when I am with her, I just can't explain it, and besides y/n likes someone else and I don't want to ruin her chances with him and not see her happy, I take a seat sitting next too y/n putting my hand on her cheek and caressing is, I sat there for about an hour  before I had to head home

the next morning we were sitting outside and discussing everything, and we were going to  be dived into new 3 man teams

''I tried to visit her but got turned away'' Namida said

''yeah maybe sensei is right, maybe we should leave her alone'' Sarada agreed with sensei, they were all talking about Sumire I look down feeling my eyebrows twitch

''at least we can see y/n she seems to be doing better every day they say she might wake up soon'' Namida said once again

''none of us were close to her, we don't even know anything about,  except she lives with Boruto, but why does she live with you?'' Sarada turns to look at me, I was playing with the grass in front of me

''she didn't have any place to stay''

''but why where are her parents? '' Cho-Cho asked joining the conversation ''I thought she had parents considering  the way she acts, she has manners and always knows what to do,  and she has a lot of respect for people so her parents  must  have done a good job raising her''

''she has parents but the one left and the other abused her for many years'' I said, I Did not want to talk about it anymore since I shouldn't be sharing stuff about y/n and feeling empty talking about y/n while she is unconscious
