3rd Person POV just to be clear because pt 1 is from Annabeth's POV. And some parts are a bit out of character but I am having sever writers block, sry! Any typos just comment! I'm horrible at grammar 😄👍

"Two tickets to Battle of Olympus." Percy handed the cashier some cash and got some popcorn.

Annabeth's hair was tied into a ponytail. She wore her cheerleading letterman and some jeans. Percy was wearing a blue beanie and a zip-up hoodie. When the cashier handed them their tickets they walked to the given theater that was playing the movie.

"Battle of Olympus, huh." Annabeth shrugged and Percy laughed.

"Why would you rather watch High School Musical?" He joked. Annabeth didn't laugh though she just pulled her mouth into a half-smile. She was doing her absolute best to not seem amused by Percy. She had a reputation, one she didn't want to tumble down. She liked Percy. He had a lot going for him. A full ride to NYU, he was smart except sometimes he sure did act kinda stupid, not to mention Annabeth thought he was good looking too. She had nationals to focus on though, and SATs, and college, there just wasn't time for a boyfriend after she really thought about it.

She had to admit for a PG-13 movie it was pretty violent, to be honest, it was a horror and action movie. There were only two reasons Percy picked the movie.

1. He knew Annabeth liked Greek Mythology

2. It was a scary movie, he took the cliche into account when deciding what to watch

"Taking her to a scary movie." Percy was shooting some hoops at the park that Saturday afternoon with some of the other guys.

"Smart. Except Annabeth isn't the type to get all scared and jumpy." Jason shot a basket into the hoop. He passed the ball to Percy who dribbled it. "She flies like 20 feet in the air at least once a week, she isn't afraid of anything."

"We'll see about that." The ball made a whoosh sound as it bounced off the board and into the net. Percy wasn't nervous. Except for the fact that Annabeth was probably gonna kill him on their date.

"It's Percy Jackson we're talking about for god's sake! A hot basketball player asked you out and you're not even going to show up!" The cheer team was on a Group FaceTime and Annabeth decided she was gonna be a no-show.

"He's not that hot," Rachel grumbled. She was still upset over the incident on Monday. Her plan had completely backfired.

"I don't wanna go. Last time I dated a guy- well. You know how that ended."

"Just go Annabeth! You never know." Hazel smiled sweetly through the screen. Annabeth laughed a little and obliged. By the ending time of the call, it was around 4.

~Back to the Present~

Annabeth took a seat next to Percy and the trailers had already started. Percy was tapping his foot anxiously. Annabeth's had to tell him to stop before the sound was permanently marked into her brain. When the movie started it was already a bloodbath. Although she did enjoy how the move was authentic to Greek culture.  Percy kept looking at Annabeth every few minutes. He noticed her hand on the arm of the chair. He started to reach for it and eventually grabbed ahold of it. Annabeth's was taken by surprise, thank goodness it was dark, or else the entire room would've seen her as red as a tomato.

She looked over at him and her face was blank. It was like Percy just tore down her entire wall that was protective, filled with witty comebacks, the sass, everything had just left her body for a minute. Just looking at him now sent butterflies to her stomach.
