Admit It

Here's some wholesome Golden Trio stuff for ya. Oh and way to much dialogue as always :D Takes place in between SOM and Titans Curse

Percy was sitting under a tree with Grover during a break. He had just finished some rigorous training so all he wanted was to relax. Annabeth was fighting a Demeter kid with her knife for some practice. Percy thought that it had to be Katie Gardner, then again he wasn't really sure he didn't know Katie too well. Grover was playing his reed pipes and Percy plucked at the grass beneath them.

Annabeth pinned down the Demeter girl and Percy was in awe. He still found it amazing with the way Annabeth could handle a knife. It was a hard weapon to use.

Grover hit Percy's forearm.

"Dude you've been staring at Annabeth this entire time. I know you like her."

Percy just scoffed and smiled a little. He continued to watch Annabeth twirl the knife in her fingers as she pulled the girl off the grass.

"It doesn't mean I'm into her." Percy shrugged.

Grover face palmed. He couldn't believe how dense his best friend was. Annabeth walked over to the two boys.

"Juniper is looking for you by the way." She said to Grover who got excited.

"SHE IS?!"

Percy started cracking up. "Someone's got a crush."

"Mhmm and you don't." Grover crossed his arms and trotted his way into the forest. Annabeth sat next to Percy under the shade of the tree. She sat oddly close to Percy. Not like close, close but closer then she would've sat next him when they first met.

After the whole siren thing Annabeth seemed to be more fond of Percy. She had pecked him on the cheek after the chariot race but Percy still believed that she was just a friend, his best friend along with  Grover. He did admit that he thought Annabeth was cute.

"What was Grover talking about?" She asked him after a minute of silence because neither one knew what to say.

"Ah nothing." Percy acted like it really did mean nothing. Annabeth wasn't stupid though, she could tell whatever Grover was talking about meant something.

"Well then if it really means nothing, you'll fight me." She smirked. She was always in the mood for a good fight, she knew a good deal of Percy's moves too. There was no way she was gonna lose.

They stood up and Annabeth was already trying to pin Percy down. Percy quickly uncapped Riptide and swung at Annabeth who jumped back to get out of the way. He slashed toward her again but missed as she dodged the hit. She jumped and went around Percy in a circle he frantically tried to hit her but she easily caught his wrist, flipped him, and had her knife at his chest.

"Your way to easy Seaweed Brain." She got up off of him and helped him up.

"No fair. You always win." He pouted and brushed himself off. Riptide turned back into a pen and he stuffed it back into his pocket. They sat back under the tree and talked about school and those things.

From afar a certain daughter of Aphrodite, Silena along with her friend Charlie were watching.

"Those two are made for each other." She said sweetly.

Charlie was too busy staring at Silena to even hear what she said. His 'not-so-secret crush' on her had only become more obvious.

"Sorry what?" Charlie snapped out of his daze.

"They're made for each other. Percy just needs to admit it already. I might just get my mom to make him if he doesn't."

Whoooh supper short but it was just something to help clear my writers block lol
