Last one!! I've had so much fun writing this and am so excited to get working on some other requests I've received!! If you have a request for a one-shot or short miniseries just like Green and Grey, you can request them through an A/N a couple of chapters back! Another option is you can PM me or write me a message on the conversation tab!

Annabeth's POV

I woke up with a pounding headache. It was was like I was getting knocked in the head with a hammer. It only got worse when I rolled out of bed and remembered the events from yesterday evening. A part of me regretted what happened. I was totally being stuck up and rude. Then there's the whole Percy situation. The one person who actually cared about me I had shut out.

I got showered and got dressed quickly. I wasn't planning to stay but I had a few more days left here. I took the elevator down. At first, I was all by myself but as it stopped at floors families came in.

"I'm gonna beat you down the water slide!"

"No me!"

"No me!"

I would call the situation cute but with a headache, it was just annoying. When I reached the lobby floor I went to Sally's office. I still needed to receive the other half of my paycheck. I took a deep breath and was about to knock on the door when I overheard a conversation. I'm not one to eavesdrop but- I eavesdrop. I've learned to over the years, it's a bad habit but it's how I made sure no one was saying things about me behind my back. Which they were but at least I knew it was happening.

"Tell her, you want her to stay!"

"I tried! She doesn't want to talk to me anyway."

I finally knocked and Sally opened to door. Percy stood in the back of the office.

"Annabeth! Perfect! I have the rest of your paycheck all ready! Thank you so much, everybody is loving the new lobby." She gave me a soft smile and handed me the check.

I walked out of the office without a goodbye. I'd see them tomorrow.

Percy's POV

When Annabeth left my mom gave me a look. I raised an eyebrow and she rolled her eyes.

"Well! Go! If anyone can get through her head it's you!"

I nodded and then ran out after her. I grabbed her arm and she turned around, her face immediately turning into a frown.

"Percy. Let go of my arm." She demanded.

"Annabeth, what if I went with you back to California," I said.

Her eyes grew wide at my offer.

"I can't ask you to do that." She whispered.

"You're not asking. I'm saying I will," I whispered back.

It was true. I let her go once, its not happening again. I can't let her be unhappy again.

"Your home is here Percy! I'm not letting you do that for me!" She argued back in a hushed voice.

"Okay, so where's yours?" I asked. She looked at me a little confused.

"It's my apartment in LA." She answered in a strong yet soft tone.

"No, no, like where do you belong?"

"Again! In LA!" Her voice got a little louder and angrier.

I moved my hand from holding her arm to her hand. She looked down and then back at me.

"Your home is where the people who love you are." Her eyes became a little sad as she hit the realization, at least I hope she hit it. I could see it all, the sadness, the pain. I could see it all in her stormy eyes. All she needed was someone to love her, to care for her, and she would be okay. "Annabeth, I'll go to California with you. That way you can be happy there and I won't be holding you back here."
