Normal POV
Lynn rubbed off her tears and straightened up. She shot Gon a grateful smile and he got up from his crouched position on the floor. "I tell you what. Let's have dinner in my place today. It would give you a change of scenery and also give you time to catch up with my dad. You can bring Sienna along if you want to" Lynn stared at Gon wondering how all of this could be happening in one day. It was a really long time since she saw Ging. She smiled at Gon and nodded. "Of course. That would be amazing " Gon fist pumped the air and shot a bright brilliant smile in Lynn's direction. "That's awesome!! I'll just call my dad and let him know we'll be having company this evening. Oh! You come too Killua!! It will be fun!" He said before he picked up his phone and went to a corner of the room. Lynn felt light hearted all of a sudden. Maybe taking about it does work after all. She looked up at Killua and smiled. "Is he always like this?" Killua smiled back at her and nodded his head. "Yup. If he's happy so is everyone around him. The same thing will happen when he's sad. whatever he's feeling.... It's really contagious" Lynn laughed. "Contagious? Is that how you completely changed when you met Gon?" Killua smiled sadly and stared at nothing in particular. "When Gon met me..... To be honest... I was a wreck when he met me. I was depressed most of the time and was kind of an introvert. I didn't like talking to people. Didn't like looking at them.... I didn't want to live. I constantly kept degrading myself, discouraging myself, until there was nothing. I couldn't feel anything. It was like I became a mechanical person. Everything... Was just so... Dark" Lynn leaned against her elbows and listened to Killua's words carefully, absorbing every single detail. She wasn't alone. She wasn't the only person feeling these things. There was someone else. And that made her feel..... A little happy. "Then Gon came along." As soon as he said those words his mouth quirked up into a smile. "As usual I didn't want to talk to him. I didn't want his pity. I kept pushing him away. And I certainly didn't want him to know the broken person inside. I wanted to drown in that darkness that I had created myself. But then he kept on coming back, never backing down. Until the exterior just... Cracked and everything fell apart. I thought that everything would end that day but" he faced Lynn and smiled. "It's been a tough ride.... But I can tell you that I never regretted my decision of trusting Gon. He saved me from my own darkness" Lynn returned the smile and got up from the sofa. "I don't know how you got the courage to open up like that. But I'm trying I guess?" Killua patted Lynn and on the shoulder and leaned forward, his breath causing tingles to shoot down her spine. "And all it took was one kiss to open up huh? If that's all you wanted then you should have asked before" Lynn went pink all over and tried smacking Killua's head which he dodged in the last minute.
"Y-you idiot. It's nothing like that!! What the hell is- ARGGHHH " She stormed off to where Gon was standing with Killua smiling behind her back.

The room was dark and quiet, the only source of light was from Kurapika's laptop. He stared at it intently. He took his glass of wine from the table and twirled it's red contents absent- mindedly. The stocks have dropped again. Whatever happens the stocks keep dropping. Kurapika leaned back on his chair. Lynn. You need to get out of this. He was startled out of his thoughts when he heard someone knocking on the door. He placed the glass on the table and rubbed his eyes with his hands. He wasn't really a patient person when he was sleep deprived. He sighed and said "Come in"
All of the tiredness of his features evaporated when the man who disturbed him made his appearance. "Hey Kurapika" Kurapika frowned at the man's cheery tone. He rubbed his forehead again and faced the man who was now sitting in the chair across him. "What are you doing here?" The man pouted. "Should I have a reason to come and see my ex-partner?" Kurapika folded his hands across his chest and placed his legs one on top of the other. "Well I'm not the one to buy that bullshit. So better start stating your real reason before I kick you out" the pout vanished from the man's face at Kurapika's serious tone. "Your so mean. I came here to see Lynn" Kurapika stiffened but covered it up with his cool façade. "Sorry to disappoint you but she's not here. You know she can't work here until she clears her name right?" The man placed his hand on his chin and smirked. "I don't know... Something told me she might be here" Kurapika scoffed. "You and your intuition" the room was enveloped by silence. "Well if your done then, you can leave"
"You know I'm assigned with Lynn's case now. So I'm justified in asking where she is"
"I didn't necessarily object to you seeing her either" the man sighed and got up to leave. "Glad to see that you're still the same arrogant Kurapika. I think this company was good for you" Kurapika looked up from his laptop in surprise. "What makes you say that?" The man shook his head. "Intuition" Kurapika rolled his eyes as the man opened the door to leave. "You believe she's innocent don't you?" Kurapika looked out of his window and saw the various pedestrians walking to their destinations, leading normal lives. "She's just gone through a lot. She's lost a lot. It would do her some good to be normal" the man let a small smile grace his lips. "See. That's what I meant. You never trust a person so easily and yet you're telling me with full confidence that that girl isn't guilty. Good to see a positive change in your attitude" Kurapika scowled. "Shut up and get out of the office already" the man smiled. "Ok ok. Bye Kurapika. Until next time" Kurapika gave him a small wave and he returned it. The door of his office room shut and silence was once again bestowed on the dark office.
