Brooklyn's P.O.V

"Yes. Yes." I said, smiling at him. Harry stood up and hugged me. He was mine.

All mine.

The next few months flew by. Harry and I decided we wanted to be married before the twins arrived so I had to do all the planning in five months by May. I would be nine month pregnant but my due date was a week after the wedding.

"How about these flowers?" Mallory asked, holding up daisies. I shook my head and looked the El. She held up tulips and I smiled.

Since it was a spring wedding, tulips would be perfect. They also happened to be my favorite flower.

"Perfect." I said, adding tulips to the budget and moving onto the next thing.

"I don't want to do this anymore." I said, leaning back on the couch. I had been picking out wedding things for a a month since January. The wedding was in three months and I was beginning to freak out.

Along with the wedding I had to prepare for the twins arrival as well. Their nursery at our house was in progress but it was not finished. By now, I wanted to have their nursery done and a baby shower.

Neither of the those things were done.

"What are you thinking Brook?" El asked, knocking me out of my thoughts.

"I was just thinking of all the things I have to get done in the next three months." I told them, throwing the binder I had in my lap on the coffee table.

"Like what?" LyLayn asked coming in the room with five cups of tea.

"The twins room isn't finished and I was hoping to have the baby shower before now. Too many things are happening at once." I told them. Mallory and Eleanor looked at each other.

"We call baby shower!" They both said at the same time.

"We can have my next Friday. We can invite Sarah and your mum and oh this will be great fun!" Eleanor said, clapping her hands together.

"Okay. We can have it here. We just need food, invites, a guest list, presents, and a cake!" Mallory added.

"I'll be in charge of invitations and guest lists!" Emily shouted. She was very excited to be a step-mum.

"You two have fun." I told them. "Now will somebody help me up so I can use the loo?"

Eleanor's P.O.V

The week planning for Brooklyn's baby shower flew by. Mallory and I were at each other's flat every night trying to finish everything. On Thursday night I went over to Mallory's house and we spent all night baking and talking about our presents.

I made two blankets for the babies. One had Tigger on it and the other had Piglet on it. Liam had told me his surprise to Brooklyn was going to be to finish the nursery at her house. He told me he was going to keep it the same theme as his house, so I made the blankets match.

Mallory bought two bouncy seats for the twins. They swung back and forth, side to said and could be controlled with an app. Brooklyn had asked for them so of course she was going to get them.

Friday morning we went over to Brooklyn's house bring and early. She answered the door in a pair of pajama pants and a tank top. Sophie and Lux were in the living room playing with their barbies.

"Good morning." I said to Brooklyn as I walked in. Mallory followed behind me and we both entered the kitchen. I set down all of the decorations I was carrying onto the table and began to sort it out.

"Do you guys want any help?" Brooklyn asked.

"Nope. How about you take the girls upstairs to their playroom and watch TV in there? We'll take care of everything down here. The shower starts at three so make sure to be down here by two thirty. What time is Harry coming to take the girls?" Mallory asked her.

"He'll pick them up at one."

"Okay. Well we'll be almost done by one." Mallory said. Brooklyn nodded and went to round up the girls.

Two o'clock rolled around very quickly. We had decorated the downstairs, set up the games, gotten the cake from the delivery man, finished up the good and set up the presents corner.

"I'm ready. Do I look okay?" Brooklyn asked coming downstairs. She was wearing a white lace dress with gold flats, a gold necklace and gold flower earrings.

"You look stunning." I told her. She smiled at me and sat down on the couch. She was exhausted and I knew she was. All of this wedding planning and baby stuff was driving her mad.

I sat down on the couch next to her and sighed.

"It looks great, El." Brooklyn said smiling at me. Mallory walked in and sat next to Brooklyn. "Thank you both for everything."

"You're welcome. You do deserve it." Brooklyn opened her mouth to say something but the doorbell interrupted. Mallory shot up to answer it.

"Hello Dear!" A sweet voice said as the door opened. Brooklyn smiled and looked at me. I knew she was asking me to help her up. I stood from the couch and helped Brooklyn up. She went into the foyer.

"Brooklyn! You look wonderful!"

"Thank you, Mrs. Payne." Brooklyn replied, hugging the elderly woman. They pulled apart and I got a good look at the woman. She had light brown hair and fair skin along with brown eyes. She was wearing a blue dress and black flats.

"Would you like me to take the present?" Mallory asked.

"Thank you." Mrs. Payne said, handing off the small box to Mallory.

"Come in, please." Brooklyn said, leading Mrs. Payne into the living room. I followed them and the doorbell rang again. Mallory answered and soon the room was buzzing with excited women.

At four o'clock after everyone had eaten and the games had been played, it was time to open the gifts. Brooklyn sat down on the couch and Mallory brought in all of the presents. Brooklyn opened them all except for Mrs. Payne's.

"Now Dear, I know the baby shower gift is supposed to be something for the baby, but this is for you. You are like my daughter and even though you are having my son's children, I still love you." She said, standing up and handing the small package to Brook.

"Thank you." She said, opened the package. Inside there was a small charm bracelet with a pink side and a blue side. The pink side had things like shopping bags and high heels but also had a bottle and a baby carriage. The blue side had a football and a car but it had a bottle and baby carriage also.

"Do you like it?"

"I love it." Brooklyn said, pushing off the couch and hugging Mrs. Payne. "Thank you."

"You're welcome. Now, there is one more thing. Since Liam is my boy, he has asked me to show you the gift." Mrs. Payne said, leading Brooklyn upstairs. The entire party followed behind them and soon enough to they were at the doors of the nursery. Mrs. Payne opened the door and Brooklyn let out a gasp.

"Who? Liam?" Brooklyn asked, walking into the room.

It was yellow and green with the Winnie the Pooh characters on the wall. The cribs were white and had the same Tigger and Piglet sheets on them as the beds in the other nursery. There was a rocking chair in between the two cribs and a chest of drawers full of clothes.

"Liam wanted to surprise you." Mrs. Payne said.

"He did. This is beautiful." Brooklyn said smiling so wide she couldn't hide it.

In that moment I think Brooklyn saw that everything works out for the best. Somehow and in some way everything that needs to be done will.

Brooklyn began to relax more and soon May rolled around.
