Harry's P.O.V
I woke up in my room and I couldn't help but smile when I remembered Brooklyn was in the room right next to mine. I decided to get up and see if I could give Brooklyn a break from the girls. She was under a lot of stress, and I knew that wasn't good for her or the babies.
"Daddy?" Sophie asked, opening my door and coming over to my side of the bed. She saw my eyes were open so she crawled up onto my bed and got under the duvet. I was wearing a t-shirt and boxers for the first time ever while I slept, and right now I was grateful for it.
"Hi, boo." I put my hand over her forehead to pull her curls back but her forehead felt warm. "Sophie, do you feel okay?" I asked. She shook her head no so I got out of bed and picked her up, then went down to the kitchen. I opened the cabinet that Brook put the medicine in and grabbed the medicine she told me that Sophie would take if she had a fever. I poured the red liquid into a medicine cup and gave it to Sophie.
"No." She said, putting the cup down on the counter and crossing her arms. "It yucky."
"Sophie, you're sick. You have to take it babe. You want to get better, don't you?" She looked down at the medicine and then up at me.
"No." I looked down at the medicine, and an idea popped into my head. I smiled and went into the refrigerator. I grabbed the bag of carrots and went back over to Sophie.
"Drink it, or I won't let you have carrots ever again." I threatened. I'm such an evil dad.
She grabbed the cup and drank the medicne before you could say carrots. Her lips puckered and she squeezed her eyes shut, then opened them. I handed her the bag of carrots and she ripped them open happily. This kid hangs out with way Louis too much.
I went upstairs, cracked the door to Lux's nursery and listened at the entrance. I heard little giggles and fragments of words. I decided to open the door completely and saw her standing up holding Sophie the giraffe in her tiny left hand.
"Hi Luxy." I cooed, walking over to her and picking her up. I kissed her chubby cheeks and went back downstairs where Sophie was. I set Lux down next to Sophie and saw she was almost done with he whole bag of carrots. "Sophia! You are going to get even sicker! Carrot fever or something!" I said, taking the bag from her and putting them on the highest shelf in the refrigerator.
"Hey Haz." Brooklyn said, walking in wearing a tight fitting, pink striped long sleeved shirt with pink Abercrombie sweatpants and pink slippers.
"Did I wake you up, love?" I asked, walking over to her and looking into her eyes. She was so exhausted. I felt bad for her. Soon she would have twice the amount of kids she has now, but I'll be here to help her.
"No. I woke up to Liam calling. He has a date tonight, and he didn't want me to need him and not know where he is. He is really starting to get on my nerves. I know it's just hormones and that he's the dad, but my God. Daddy Direction much?" I led her over to a chair at the bar and made her sit down.
"You're just agitated right now, love. He's just being normal Liam. He just cares. You know how he is. Tea?" She nodded and I started boiling some water on the stove.
"Who is Liam going out with? Do you know?" She asked all of a sudden, interested. I shrugged and went over to Sophie and Lux.
"I don't know, but this little one has a fever." I picked up Soph and felt her forehead again. Still a fever.
"Let me see her." Brooklyn said as she spun around and held out her arms for Sophie. I shook my head and held Sophie closer to me.
"Babe, you don't need to get sick. You can hold Lux though." I offered. She nodded and I picked up Lux. Brook took Lux from me and started talking to her in that baby voice everyone uses around babies.
"I love you." I whispered to myself as I walked to Sophie's room to let her rest. Everyone says Sophie looks just like me, but I see more and more of Brooklyn in her every single day. My daughter was a constant reminder that I couldn't have Brooklyn, and I didn't know why.
Emily's P.O.V
Eleanor said she was going to set me up with one of her boyfriend's friends. I think his name is Liam, but I didn't have very good connection when we were talking.
I slipped into the pink plaid shirt and blue jeans I had picked out, then put on my pink high heels. My hair was already in a side braid and I had natural make up on. Mascara, a bit of pink eye shadow but not enough to over do it, and dark red lipstick. That was sorta my thing. Dark red lipstick.
I checked the time and looked myself over in the mirror once when I heard the doorbell ring. Seven o'clock, right on schedule.
I grabbed my iPhone with it's pink case and went downstairs. I could see a tall boy standing outside from the window so I opened the door.
Here goes nothing.
